Kawasaki said customers not happy with the steering damper on the older model so they decide not to include it in the 2013 model upwards. However they are two version of the zx6r; one with the 636cc engine without damper (model officially for Malaysian market) and the 600cc model with damper. The 600cc model suppose to be a little cheaper. But I don't think the 600cc is available in Malaysia.

My suggestion if you decide on a bike loan try asking the shop to provide a quotation that includes a third party steering damper as part of the bike cost.

I do know Malaysia official is 636 which does not have any dampers on its after checking its website. Even I check on official Kawasaki accessories it will cost more or less 600 pound

Mohon pendapat.
I am 25, never rode a bike before (actually got lah kapcai, but just 1-2 times).
Now considering getting a bike, already have L license.
Was thinking of Kawasaki Z250SL.

I do not intend to use this as an everyday bike to get to work, nak jinak2 dulu as weekend bike - to learn and get better. Or maybe after work if balik awal, boleh la pakai motor keluar gi makan.

My concerns are as a noob, can I use this as a weekend bike? I am looking for something low maintenance, and less complicated. I had initially considered getting a Blade but based on the posts that I've seen on the Naza Blade Malaysia page, it seems i'm gonna have quite a big headache if I do get one.

Hence, I've considered the Z250SL. Any inputs on this bike? Aku nampak kat 2nd post macam tak ramai pakai motor ni.
