Yeah man, started my high end instance runs now since im 57 already XD But from what I can see is, if my connection was still as laggy as before, its impossible to keep my party alive. Streamyx sux :/

I really donno about the pings now man, previously I said my line was good at 60.49 already right? About 20 days ago, I havent complain till now cuz I havent DC from then until I got booted by streamyx 2 days ago. Then I reconnected and got 60.48, cant get 49 anymore. Ping was the same, wierd. Second day wake up, Dont know if anyone turned of my router but ping was at 1.2k, disconect, got 60.49, same thing. Try again, 60.48, same thing, try again 60.48, back to 500-700. So, I can only say, once you get a good line, dont get disconected.

Heres something that might help some people.... My line, went dead yesterday around 7pm and till now I cant surf anything, including any webs, ping is so so, getting timeouts but when succesful, 270ms to yahoo.

So today my friend went and bought a new Dlink modem, his problem was solved, so I tried to use the modem those telekom guys left at my house (they sorta given it to me for free lol) and wollah, it worked, and not only did it work, it was super fast. Then I put it back to my modem, and all hell breaks lose again. So now I'm sticking with the telekom modem that was left to me, things are going so fast.

Later I'm gonna take my friend's Dlink modem to try things out, if it works then maybe... it was our aztech modem all the while?

Krawl all the servers are at US, so it doesnt matter which you join but I suggest you join a new server, where everyone is new and you can start in a better enviroment. If you dont know which is new, try joining low pop servers. You can ofcourse choose to play with people in this forum.

Anyway, server to server transfers are not allowed so ur stuck at 1. And remember, please use your real contact address name and stuff, everything, you will get banned if they find out its fake. Trust me, I know 2 person that got banned already.

Aside from that, anyone having lag spikes once in awhile while playing WoW? I notice when the spike comes it hits everyone. Im on 60.49, my friend at 208.111 and another at 219.94, all get hit my spikes together at the same time and end at the same time.

Yea what kinda bull crap. I get spiked every 20 seconds which usually last more than 10 seconds, how am I suppose to heal? Telekom guys these days are getting worse too, they will try to find stories that its not their fault, even if you complain all the way up to their second level sigh.

Today my phone line was dead for like 30 minutes, as in no tone -.- But after that when it came back up I got a new IP, 60.50 ping is 550+, not as good as 60.49, but theres no lag spike at all. I'm gonna stick to this for now, the other IPs starting with 60 is hopeless.

60.49 is horrible from now on, had to switch to 60.50 now. Least I got 3 options rather than the stupid 219. If ur using 219 get ur port changed or ur never gonna play in peace.

To change ur port you gotta ask the technicians that come to ur house, they can do it, you gotta ask. Those dumb operators are useless all the time and shouldnt be relied on. Btw today's a laggy day, 1k ping -.-

600-700 is very bad already as a healer... I cant keep people alive in tough situations when I could at 400-500. My line was always in the 400-500 range but ever since the landslide it shot up to 700+, even now after it was fixed, its still the same. But it depends where I am tho, for some isntances I go back down to 400-500, other places it shoots up to 700. Very depressing sad.gif

Heh I just quit WoW, for the better. Not only do I have time to face reality now, I'm also free from Streamyx's haunt of lag, IM FREE!

Sanylcs -

Im from Selayang too, and one of the technicians actually informed us that our lines are actually faulty cuz its old. But I suppose its just another crappy excuse from them.

About the 218 lagging also, Ive read at the Broadband section in this forum that overall performance of streamyx is dropping, regardless of which IP ur using.

Not everyone is as fortunate as those that can get good IPs. Anyway mine is 700 ish average on 60.50. But what we want is fast response... I notice sometimes you can get fast response even when your latency is high. So whats good and whats bad? You know the global cooldown? Last time it needed to turn to 3 o clock before the spell kicks in. This is the good one where ping was in 400-500. Now with 700 the turning goes to 7 o clock before the spell kicks in. This is tottaly unacceptable.

Btw, I've read about Americans whining and b****ing at blizzard, threatening that they will quit the game if it continues to lag. Whats their ping? 200 ish lol!

I was playing with 300-400+ during the betas. When retail came out it was around 400+, few weeks later woolah 2k ping for 2-3 months +, constant b****ing at Streamyx got me a new port which gave me 500+ latency for a month or 2, now back to 700-800, sucks! So do check out the other ISPs thats providing new services. You can find them at the Networks section on this forum itself.

Jaring Wired BB is one of them and I'm definately going to give it a try, its cheaper, same speed, and what can go wrong? Streamyx is already unplayable, at most Jaring will give me the same thing, an unplayable game, but then its a new hope. At the very least we could be able to play a lag free game for a few months? Heard that Jaring wireless BB gave the users 300+ pings, tho some reports said it was worse than Streamyx, 2k ping, but seriously, our wireless technology is still not reliable, this wired one should be a lot better.

I dont think with their current power they can discourage people from playing online games. Blocking p2p yeah maybe but what I want is WoW tongue.gif Anyway Jimmy, whats ur latency with WoW using Jaring? Btw that Jaring I was talking about is the wired one, not the wireless.

60.50, ok in the morning, a total joke at peak hours. 60.48 is like Streamyx's abomination that shouldnt be born in the first place. 60.49 is fine, FINE sigh, only by Streamyx standard.
