Anyone took the Level 1 exam yesterday? I'm quite surprised to see so many other candidates actually. The exam wasn't that hard to be honest, compared to the mock.

What are the necessary requirements to enrol for CFA?
Is a degree part of the requirement?

But say take level 1, then cannot proceed further to level 2 & 3 if don't have degree? So hv to lvl l --> degree --> lvl 2 & 3 Or degree --> lvl 1, 2, & 3?

Ya. more like Degree & Level 1 (together) ---->GRADUATE degree -----> level 2 & 3 OR Degree ---> graduate ---> Level 1,2,3 Its up to your own capabilities

It's clear to me now. So this qualifications is meant to complement Uni Degree, not to substitute it. Correct? Anyways, if one has got a professional qualifications from other accounting bodies, can it be used to study CFA?

Take professional qualification as a niche to specialise...in this case it would be finance. And yes, having another qualification does not restrict you from taking cfa

The exam wasn't that hard to be honest, compared to the mock. The number of candidates keep increasing yearly. Twenty years ago, a total of less than 50 candidates sat for levels I, II, and III combined. This year, almost 500 candidates took the exam in Malaysia alone.

Hello, I'm planning to take A-Levels, then Degree in Accounting & Finance, then ACCA.
So after completion of ACCA, can I take CFA? Or ACCA is already enough or covered up the syllabus of CFA? Is there any exemptions on it?
