Recent trends in investment banking - automation and significant reduction in head count by all players.  Watch out, since the curve for this profession was a steep rise, usually followed by steep correction.  Jobs that are too costly tend to be targetted for cost reduction and stream lining.

The world of finance is getting ready for revolutionary change.

Any views on this emerging trend?

Might be a good chance for regional players to rise as a global powerhouse?

Malaysia is always 5 ~ 10 years behind the rest of the world, I suppose Malaysia would be good for now but global trends do get picked up by local banks quickly.

To get to the core of it. Insurance agent ~ financial planner
Broker ~ investment banker

New labels for age old jobs?

Achievable. I attended classes at Noesis and did a lot of self-study & preparation before classes. Level 1 is easy.

Level 2 achievable but I was not able to get it due to work commitment. Only my Ethics, FI & AI were in 50-70 buckets. The rest were in >70 buckets.

Level 3 would be harder I guess because of the structured questions.
