QUOTE(voncrane @ Jan 21 2017, 11:04 AM) TM designed it to be used via LAN port 4 and not WiFi (cuz Hypptv service has its dedicated bandwidth).. Since you are using Wifi, I'll assume you set it up and know how to reverse and try again. Just got my Unifi today. So if I move the HypeTV box to another room and connect to the Unifi router (D-Link 850L) via wifi, it won't work? Have to be connect to LAN? I think i have to lay a new LAN cable then if cannot work via WiFi.

Keatsan Thanks for the good suggestion. QUOTE(Max @ Jan 23 2017, 12:20 AM) For unifi hypptv it uses Lan port 4. But streamyx hpptv doesnt have dedicated port. Cucuk any port or wifi also can watch... Seems like streamyx hypptv sharing bandwith with internet? Is the HyppTV box supposed to connect directly to the Unifi modem? The Unifi installer connect the HypeTV box to the bundled wifi router (D-Link DIR-850L) LAN port and it still works. It just doesn't work on wifi as i tested. Wifi range is not a problem. voncrane My tiny house is single phase only.

Anyone know how to get the iFlix app at the TV box working? If I use my computer browser or Ipad iFlix app, it will auto detect the Unifi line and "auto login" without the need to key in userID and password. But using the iFlix downloaded from Playstore, it will prompt the login page to key in userID and password. Any place to retrieve the login credential?
It will be much more convenient to watch the free iFlix within the TV box itself. Thank you.

QUOTE(farsight73 @ Mar 7 2017, 01:11 PM) I'd configured mine and it worked marvelously. So you would end up having two SSID(Wifi network) after the settings are done. Word of caution.. be very careful in thinkery when you're in the admin settings. Here you go.. the guide.. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3790881/allthanks a lot for the guide, will try tonight. QUOTE(kkm @ Mar 7 2017, 04:13 PM) Anyone sorted out watching Iflix on this box? I've reset my id/pw but still get error message when I try to log in... it is not your id/pw problem. I think all of us cannot sign in at the box - keep getting server problem.

Got the TP-Link homeplug and manage to setup the HyppTV box at the other room away from the router by LAN. Thanks for the bros who suggested this great solution.

QUOTE(Maxieos @ Mar 17 2017, 12:27 AM) Does it work well ? did you really purchase 2nd ? or a new set and the price ? . Yes, it works perfectly for the HyppTV box. Bought new from a local computer shop in JB at RM310. I think Lelong and other places are selling around the same price.
