Just to report back my progress...

I don't know what's wrong (or what's right) but just now I power up this HyppTV box and I saw several icons at the bottom of the screen (something indicating updates available for my Apps). Out of curiosity, I try launch PlayStore and heck, it's working fine now! 

Immediately, I hook up my keyboard & mouse and the very first thing, I search for es file explorer, and it installed successfully.

Then I return to my PC, go to Kodi official site and download the APK, but the download speed are very slow, I got around 80KB/s. So I go back to HyppTV box, open PlayStore and search for kodi, and I install kodi from PlayStore without problem. 

But I have a question though, if you can install es file explorer from PlayStore, why some of you need to "sideload" Kodi using USB drive instead? I checked the version from the APK and version in PlayStore, they were same version.

Still waiting for lyt25_1234 to show us how to make our STB play 1080p. Please enlighten us. Thanks.

The box Android OS resolution running very good on 1080p..but when i launch HyppTV app..it will show 480i only..even I choose HD channel..

I don't know if this is possible but just few apps, I'm OK to let the system arranges on its own.

Installed youtube for Android tv 1.3.11 able to play now.

What error you encounter?  Mine able to play videos.  Unlike the mobile version able to access youtube but just want play the stream.

30mb speed enuf?

I thought these days it is so common to have 30Mbps for UniFi, it is the minimum package for new sign-ups.
I'm also using 30Mbps now and plan to upgrade soon though I'm using it alone.

I moved KODI to my microSD card, but now when I install AZDrama, it's not showing up on the Video Add-on, how come?

Yeah, I just tried mine and I must update to the latest version. Also facing the same issue as you. I have tried logging in using browser to let it detects me on UniFi and then play any video to open using app, however it straight prompts me to login page in the app.

If anybody has any solution, please share with us.
