found some trick. try & error

Saya pengguna TM Box Unifi (Huawei EC6108V8). Saya juga mempunyai masalah error RH-01 apabila melancarkan aplikasi playstore di box ini.

Cara mudah menyelesaikan masalah ini:

1) Buka tetapan pada box / setting. Pilih ‘Manage Application’.

2) Cari Google Play Services dan tekan OK

3) Force Stop, Clear Cache dan Clear Data

4) Tekan butang ‘back’

5) Pilih Google Play Store

6) Force Stop, Clear Cache dan Clear Data

7) Tekan back button sehingga keluar menu utama.

8) Lancarkan semula applikasi Playstore.

*** Langkah lain:

1) Clear cache playstore

2) Tukar time server / ntp server pada datetime setting ke 128.199.84.169

3) exit.. masuk balik playstore..

4) x ok? restart box

*** Sekiranya langkah di atas GAGAL, factory reset adalah pilihan terakhir. Jika anda pengguna hyptv, pastikan anda hubungi TM untuk dapatkan userid dan password untuk access ke hyptv.

I just installed my STB a few days ago. Like many users, I could not go to Playstore, could not use Youtube, etc. After solving playstore issue, I could not install apps (incompatible, etc)

Thanks to the tips here (yes, I read through all 65 pages of them in a few days), managed to solve most of the problem except iflix still asking for my username and pwd. I installed the latest apk for iflix (V 2.11.0), and nothing I tried could work (delete data, use LAN during first visit, visit iflix.com/TM/ to let it detect my unifi.... nothing works so far).
Going to install an older version to try.

Oh, one question: how do I know whether the hypptv I am watching is in 720p or 1080p? Where to check?

Try using iflix 2.1.17.1, I'm using this version all this while and it plays well and can detect me using Unifi. I use WiFi though as this box doesn't bind with my HyppTV account. After installing, just visit the website and let it detect. Then, try to play one video and they will auto play in the app, if I can still remember the steps correctly.

It doesn't matter whether it is 720p or 1080p, this box can only play 720p max...

Fruitie, I see that you replied to many people on this iflix issue, with so much patience. My next step is to install and older version. Oldest version I can see on apkpure.com is V2.3.1.

On the 720p or 1080p, I asked because I read here that some people got their STB upgraded to watch in 1080p.

Ermm. That's for HyppTV content and it is HD only not 1080p... So, it is 720p. Previously those guys were watching at 360p/480p content... If I'm not mistaken.

Oh I see. Then, how do I check whether mine is 720p or 360p? I got my STB in Aug this year and only installed it this week after I got my TV.
For info, I last watched a CRT TV way back in 2009, and haven't had a TV in the house since then, so can't tell how a 720p or 360p should look like on a 55" LCD.

Well, I'm not sure if it's 1080p for HyppTV now. So sorry, I may be wrong because I don't use HyppTV on this box.

Have u tried to plugout the network cable and only use wifi only while accessing playstore.

Maintenance code is 3008.

Today I finally go collect this free HyppTV STB on Streamyx 8MB package.
I use Ethernet LAN to connect to my existing Streamyx router, key in username and password, and everything goes fine.

Here are some interesting test:

1. There are 2 mode for the HyppTV streaming, Streamyx and UNIFI.
Don't know if forummer here did compare the streaming quality between the 2, the streaming for Streamyx mode seems max at 4MB, which for me is pretty low quality.

2. Manage to sign in Google Playstore on the Android part and able install BubbleUPnP DLNA, VLC Player, Kodi, Candy Crush game, and Sector Strike game. The DLNA apps cannot detect my DLNA server. I play those game with mouse plug in to the STB, a mouse cursor appear on screen. Many apps are incompatible, but no plan to explore further. Maybe some one can recommend some totally free streaming service.
(After all these year watching offline content, I already get used to high quality HD viewing, streaming simply already cut a lot quality to be able to be streamed through TMNet lousy connection speed)

3. This STB actually has DLNA feature by default, can access via My Media. It can read pendrive, external HDD (1TB), and also DLNA shared video file on my PC. Quality playback on H264 MKV/MP4 file are great, able to decode AAC audio, able to play .tp, .m2ts, .ts Bluray format file. However, it cannot decode DTS audio (no problem on Dolby Digital 5.1 as surround sound can output to my Home Theater HDMI). Not sure if it can decode Dolby TrueHD, but confirm no luck on DTS. On DLNA mode, it list fewer subfolder than the folder that I shared, maybe there is a limit on number of folder it can show.

4. I plug in a USB hub, then now this STB can connect pendrive, mouse, keyboard, and HDD at the same time.

5. No problem on internet access and HyppTV watching via LAN. Maybe this limitation is only on UNIFI router.

6. At the end, I only use this STB to watch Malaysia free to air channel only, since the shared antenna on my flat is broken for 1 year, I get very bad reception to watch TV (I don't have Astro or NJOI btw). I have to get used to it's streaming quality as well, real Astro SD and HD satellite programming actually is much better quality than streaming. Of course, best quality source is still from Bluray Disc, DVD (yes, DVD is still superior) or those Bluray ripped H264 AVC video file, but those have to be downloaded for offline watching.

No. 2. Install ES File Explorer and download apk from sites like APK Pure. Install apps using this method.

Updates:
The BubbleUpnp DLNA app actually can detect my DLNA server. The first time cannot detect is due to my server issue. Restart the server software then everything go fine. Now, I use Kodi as the DLNA player instead, uninstalled the BubbleUpnp.

Youtube add on at Kodi actually works well, no need install another compatible Youtube apk again.

Regarding the DTS decoding, using Kodi as the media player also solve many of the decoding issue. By installing ES File Explorer, now the Android apps can read external HDD 1TB as well, NTFS formatted.

So, Kodi will be the ultimate solution for all the limitation on this STB.

Maybe someone can share out all the IPTV apps that is free or partially free. Those streaming service that can add on at Kodi actually is a big work around way rather than finding a compatible apps.

thax, already press that code, but scared to reset bcoz it say will erase all the apps and the setting...so how can i install the setting back??

I also used that method to reset, else I cannot login to PlayStore on my first try. I'm not bro by the way.

I have one problem, if i another apps found no vol.
i have run hypptv 1st, adjust the vol so that i can watch movie on others app
