I just installed my STB a few days ago. Like many users, I could not go to Playstore, could not use Youtube, etc. After solving playstore issue, I could not install apps (incompatible, etc)

Thanks to the tips here (yes, I read through all 65 pages of them in a few days), managed to solve most of the problem except iflix still asking for my username and pwd. I installed the latest apk for iflix (V 2.11.0), and nothing I tried could work (delete data, use LAN during first visit, visit iflix.com/TM/ to let it detect my unifi.... nothing works so far).
Going to install an older version to try.

Oh, one question: how do I know whether the hypptv I am watching is in 720p or 1080p? Where to check?

Fruitie, I see that you replied to many people on this iflix issue, with so much patience. My next step is to install and older version. Oldest version I can see on apkpure.com is V2.3.1.

On the 720p or 1080p, I asked because I read here that some people got their STB upgraded to watch in 1080p.

Oh I see. Then, how do I check whether mine is 720p or 360p? I got my STB in Aug this year and only installed it this week after I got my TV.
For info, I last watched a CRT TV way back in 2009, and haven't had a TV in the house since then, so can't tell how a 720p or 360p should look like on a 55" LCD.

Sigh... i looked for this thread again because of the HyppTV issue. After a week or so of not watching, I was prompted for email and pwd when I used Hypptv app. Did cache clearing and now it prompted me to update. OK, updated the app and back to asking for user ID.

Camping here to be spoon fed the solution
