I hit 260km/h last year in my Fiat Coupé. It was still accelerating and there was room for more (maybe around 270-280km/h possible I think), but a car pulled out in front so I had to brake.

Oh, and this was actual speed (reported by GPS. My speedo was indicating over 270kmh but my actual speed was only about 260).

Remember that for almost all cars the speedo overreads by 5-15%, so when your speedo says you are doing 200kmh you are actually doing less than that in reality. So before you brag to someone about hitting 200 make sure that you REALLY did hit 200!

i also heard tht fiat coupe is good in accelerate.even my fren also can hit around 240kmh once he at japan working

well, of all the cars, my modded lancer hit 210kmh (was originally 190kmh)

the honda integra hits 220kmh (sorry i sold both cars in australia)

the satria neo hits about 200kmh downhill jalan duta (will get a cam to prove it when i can)

I would put it the other way round, how big balls you have and how skillful you are to take corners.

it is stock standard optra 1.6 auto with good record of maintenance....including computer diagnostic.. tyre size also stock standard...15 inch...

err i think i wont be brave enuff to try that speed in malaysia...malaysia road is dangerous....

but not all cars are design to go side way woh...not rear wheel drive car if wanna force to power drift ..very siong one woh!!

sideways??? try 3rd gear 130km/h sideways all the way...

or in sepang... 4th gear... drop 3rd into turn 1 at 150km/h... ball shrinking already... pull handbrake a bit... drift to 2nd turn... chouku dori turn 3.

with my V6, i was on the other lane.

with the kelisa, i tailgated pretty close to get his slipstream.
u can say that i trust the driver of the other kelisa.

it's dangerous alright but it was daytime and the traffic was clear.
plus my adrenalin pumping. so hantam sajalah..

seriously you wont want to touch 140 with avanza... too high for comfort...

avanza 1.3 need to drag quite long distance to go 140km also...the car is kinda huge
