It's not easy to find a prepaid plan that gives you "Free Basic Internet" and also "Extended Validity" option, what's more Magic SIM that also gives you Burung Hantu.

We're only allowed to switch the old XPAX plans to Magic SIM, but not "downgrade" from Magic SIM to an older plan that allows EXP1/2. nod.gif

Tron is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that uses Digi's network and infrastructure to provide services to its subscribers.

If you've already bought a Magic SIM pack and wants to MNP to Tron, check out this link:

so there's no way to extend 1 year validity if i bought magic simpack is it ..
*
Afraid not. Magic SIM does not allow 1 year validity extension.

but i reload RM60 and only got 50days validity... reload via easyreload RM50+RM10   flex.gif causing my credit to expired way before my internet package  vmad.gif

The reload amounts don't stack. shakehead.gif

When you reload RM50, you got 50 days. Then you reload the RM10? Those 10 days started counting from the date of reload, not the date of expiry of the previous reload.

If you want 60 days' validity, you've to do a one-time reload of RM60 - cannot split the amount.

This is the way I don't like celcom. The rules are always changing in short period.

Last time it used to have reload internet bonus and per minute charging block for voice call but now they revoke the reload Internet bonus and change the voice charging block to 3 minutes with no announcement. What a way to carry out the business.  mad.gif

I think this is not with Celcom alone, but rather most of the major telcos calculate the validity for reloads in a similar method - the validity periods of 2 separate reloads don't stack. So we've to be very careful like when we want to take advantage of a certain promotion, to get a reload voucher for the whole required amount.

Those reload bonus and charging system, if you're referring to the time when Magic SIM was just launched, I believe they're more of a new-launching promotion. They probably decided later that it's "not healthy on their profits"...

As for the lack of announcements for removing such goodies, again I observed most telcos won't announce these "not so good news", and only update their website. To be on the safe side, I normally visit the website or discussion sites to look out for any changes.

At least some telcos put a tag 'for limited time only' and etc to indicate the purpose.

Remember there was a period when they were promoting how low was their call rate to offnet networks (in per minute measurement)? At first it was alright but after 2-3 months,  I started to realize i was deducted at least RM0.6 for each call, and most of the time the calls were less than 30 seconds. After contacting with the customer service, and only realized that they were charging in 3 minute block and the per minute measurement on the website is just to illustrate the rate was cheap.

I guess they did it so we'll think it's a permanent thing, rather than using "for limited time only" then maybe extend later on. I'm still wondering when the burung hantu's going to sleep. unsure.gif

Other than to attract more customers, I've never thought Celcom's call rates (or even data) to be cheap. "Too good to be true." nod.gif
