Can anyone advise how to deactivate Voicemail service for Magic SIM? Can we do it on our own from the phone?
Thanks in advance. |

QUOTE(fat16 @ Aug 27 2015, 10:09 AM) celcom and celcom mvno have to call service center. Thanks for the info. call 1111 press 2 u pay celcom 50sen press 3 celcom call u. Thought I could avoid having to call 1111 as hoping to just request online (like Maxis) or do it on the phone (like Digi). My experiences with them over the charging from 5-digit unsolicited messages via email and phone already turned me off these two avenues. Guess calling them just about voicemail is simpler ... let's see how it goes then. Might have to find a chance to visit them personally to resolve both matters altogether. |

Thanks everybody for your help, decided to call 1111 this evening. Managed to request for the voicemail deactivation for an old line as well, so next is to find a chance to visit them personally to "chat" about all those 5-digit messages. ^^

One more question on Magic SIM:
https://www.xpax.com.my/reload Towards the end of the page, there's a "To Extend Your Credit Validity" section. Keep your line active by subscribing to 1 Day validity extension at RM1 and continue to enjoy FREE Basic Internet. Type 1DAY Send 28882 Does this mean we can extend the validity by just a day without having to do a top-up? That is, during the passive (inactive) period, we can just type 1DAY and send to 28882 to activate the line by just a day? Thus the RM1 will be deducted from the credit balance? Has anyone here tried this? |

QUOTE(Chrono-Trigger @ Aug 30 2015, 08:07 AM) That is how I understand it Thanks for your reply. I understand about the "Free Basic Internet" part, which is quite similar to what the other telcos have. Btw celcom revised free internet quota to 500 MB , in line with other telcos. Free Basic Internet All Magic SIMTM from Xpax comes with free basic Internet at the speed of 64kbps (“Free Basic Internet”). You may continue to enjoy Free Basic Internet as long as your account is still active. If your account is inactive, the Free Basic Internet will be temporary disconnected until a reload is performed. The Free Basic Internet is up to a maximum of 500MB usage per month per mobile number only. What I'd like to clarify is the part on: Keep your line active by subscribing to 1 Day validity extension at RM1 and continue to enjoy FREE Basic Internet. Type 1DAY Send 28882 Can the validity really be extended by a day without having to do a top-up? That means, when the line is not active, we can just type 1DAY and send to 28882 to activate the line by just a day? The RM1 will be deducted from the credit balance? This is as opposed to having to find a friend to do a credit transfer/sharing, or to actually do a top-up which will normally cost at least RM5 just for that 1 day. |

QUOTE(SCThong @ Sep 10 2015, 03:26 PM) After the 1 day validity, I guess there is another 75 days inactive period before line termination? Yes/No? Not sure if the inactive period works with this method of validity extension, but the normal inactive period for Magic SIM is only 50 days, not 75 days.https://www.xpax.com.my/magicsim_tnc Upon expiry of the validity period, you will have 50 days to perform a reload, failing which your mobile number or account will be automatically terminated without any further notice. QUOTE(BeNz @ Sep 10 2015, 06:24 PM) By the way, IOX terms and conditions page has been removed and replaced with Magic Sim. Celcom going to migrate IOX user soon to Magic Sim? UOX and SOX T & C Page still remains I'd think that if they want to remove IOX, why not just remove the whole line instead of just changing the link address? https://www.xpax.com.my/iox_tnc Hope they won't really remove IOX and thus EXP1/2, coz that will give me a very good reason to cancel my line and use others instead. |

QUOTE(goliath @ Sep 11 2015, 10:58 AM) Shorter validity:https://www.xpax.com.my/creditshare_tnc Credit Share of RM1 and RM2 comes with 1 day validity. Any amount from RM3 onwards comes with 3 days validity. The recipient's new validity period is subject to their existing credit validity, the greater duration will take place. |

Looks like adjustments to the website is still ongoing, not fully updated yet?
Burung Hantu in Daily plan: https://www.xpax.com.my/internettnc No Burung Hantu for Daily plan: https://www.xpax.com.my/internet With so many changes happening lately, I'd check the actual T&C before jumping on the wagon. |

QUOTE(zangief @ Oct 6 2015, 10:06 AM) Now that you mention it, I can't really remember. Yes, Celcom's 28882 number is very useful, in this sense. You tried all combo and non of them work? You might wanna give them a call. I was having trouble when I subscribe to Burung hantu. System said once ok will send confirmation sms.. After 2 days no sms... Then I check with online CS confirmed that plan already active... I din know we can sms MAX STATUS to 28882 to check. Each time I don't get their SMS confirmation, I'll resort to sending MAX STATUS. |

QUOTE(adraxx @ Oct 19 2015, 05:31 PM) I believe you can still make a balance inquiry during the passive period, with *124# which will give you the credit balance and last active date? Passive period for Magic SIM is 50 days, before the card expires altogether. |

QUOTE(MohdAdmin @ Oct 28 2015, 09:41 AM) Hi would like to find out on this.. I currently using xpax plan and I realize that Internet Burung Hantu sim or Magic Sim give a better plan for mobile data user. You can change your plan from XPAX to Magic SIM, but if you have EXP1/EXP2 for your XPAX, only a maximum of 30 days will be carried over to Magic SIM. See the terms under "Migration" here:Somehow I do prefer on my current number without any intension to change new number, cause this current phone no. use it for work and contact to all my friend. The best of this magic sim plan can do more talk with my friend in cheap rate as well. Just Can I change the plan from xpax to magic sim while still keep my current number. http://www.xpax.com.my/magicsim_tnc The migration fee is RM5. |
