Looks like it is workable if u only have one Creditcard or many cards with the same due date. As for me I already have too many cards with diff due dates.

Yes, that's true. No joke when I have so many different due dates. Cannot la. laugh.gif

Stay humble, I stick to 2.8% for now.

U can set all cc due date to same date. So when want to pay cc, know all the oustanding payment and use 1x transfer only from truesavers

Truesaver -----> Maybank -----> all cc statement

When you have different cards for different dates, I really don't want to go through this kind of hassle la.

Anyway, thanks for all who suggested. The interest I will earn is very insignificant vs the time I will spend on. laugh.gif

Thread seems a bit dead but would like to ask a question. So you have to manually link your debit card to either Savers or Transact because I'm a bit confused on this thing. Or is the debit card automatically linked to Transact account? So if it is linked then all spending will be from that account?

Does AmBank have restrictions on the debit card purchases? I can't even use my Maybankard now with Google Play after they restricted payment to Steam. They didn't give a choice to users.

Would like to reconfirm the following:
- 3 withdrawal limit is impose on True Saver account only
- unlimited free withdrawals and online-IBG from True Transact account.

To make full use of these accounts n high interest n without incurring any fees:
-put funds in Saver Account to get d high inetrest,
-plan to have max three transfer/withdrawal to Transact account per month then use the Transact accounts to do online-IBG for payment.

Just to clarify, the debit card function is linked to the Transact account but ATM function is linked to the Saver account?

I got a shock when I looked into my TRUE accounts this morning when fees of rm5+$0.30 was charged into my acc.

So the 3 withdrawal limit is counted on the total of both accounts?

Hi @cybpsych,

Let's go through your four scenarios one by one:

1) You can transfer from MBB IGB to TRUE Savers to enjoy the flat interest rate of 2.8%.
2) You get three free withdrawals from TRUE Savers per month. Any withdrawal after that will incur a RM5.30 (including GST) cost because TRUE Savers is meant for you to park your money in there to earn the high interest rate. Yes, any withdrawal from your TRUE Savers include transfers, bill payments, ATM cash withdrawal, etc.
3) Correct! Please use your TRUE Transact to pay bills or IBG tranfers for free.
4) If you want to transfer any money from your TRUE Savers to your TRUE Transact Account, you can do this but please note that your transfer from your TRUE Savers to the TRUE Transact is considered a withdrawal, hence the 3 free withdrawals per month. The fourth withdrawal and upwards will cost RM5.30 (including GST).

last i asked, Savers -> Transact is considered as withdrawal, will utilize the "3 free withdrawals per month".

I knew and abided by this thats why for March as shown I have only 2 such withdrawals in my TrueSaver. But I have 3 withdrawals in my Transact acc.
Those are all the transactions in March. So the "3 free withdrawals per month" is based on the total of Saver+Transact?

I have no idea why you get charged too. Probably should call the bank to enquire more.
