Well, most ppl think otherwise

I believe u can have more fun at full throttle with250cc ona track rather than fearing ur own life on a litre bike

Well, speeding is very subjective. If you are an ER6 why wanna chase a super sport bike. Doesnt make sense. Thats why some Er6 last time had broken block and so on. Ride in group, so kena racun from other bikers...also dont want to come in last lah....so tekan the bike....

Me on a Versys 650 with windshield and all also damn hard to maintain 160 for long.....ideal is like 140.... ingatlah orang tersayang.....but if riding to Thailand, then full speed ahead....the early dicks get the best chicks...LOL....happy Wednesday morning guys...

Tank slapping is a worse nightmare. Quite a problem with my Duc. Exit from corner, hard blast and it will happen. I guess the rebound and damping setting.

i had early experience with tank slap

luckily damage was minimal. wearing jacket and gloves and full face helmet helped avoid any injuries, not even scratches. just bruised nerve... sweat.gif

a slight indentation on the road started the wobble

then the handlebar starts to sway right and left and wobble forcefully until you cannot resist and have to let go

i was a noobie at that time, 6 month ride experience. the wobble can be easily controlled by doing the opposite - loosening your hand grip and control the bike with hips on the tanks

i did the exact opposite

i was on low speed (less than 100km/h) so i can definitely feel each wobble and try to counter it (which is the wrong thing to do)

LOL

newbie error. a bent handlebar, a damaged side cowling and a bruised ego, apart from damaged glove and jacket.

repair is cheap. rm 150+ for the cowling, rm 70 for the handlebar. the sticker is bloody expensive. rm40 for a small piece, which i delcined to do.

and there's the dented fuel tank, which i never bothered to repair as a reminder to myself

later take pics of the dented fuel tank. just pasted yellow sticker on it to prevent rusting. LOL
