Somemore during that stage, dont think can do any renovation as well. Really kacau! Bro, your billing till which stage now? Thats why, defect checking will impede reno. Havent check my billing for a while now. i think its 2d

QUOTE(robert82 @ Jun 3 2015, 05:47 PM) thanks sam and cy for clarification. That is an impact to my loan account that's why need to clarify the timing. Merrum? I don't think can extend . If want to cover, maybe can use glass roofing or something. This however still need clarification and maybe black and white from SPS to confirm, before installing. Yeah - though they accorded a yard space, how to leave the washing machine and dryer in open area - even if I put the retractable awning, will still kena hujan - if can fence up that area - then can dry clothes and protect the equipments.

I remember one of merrum unit got one covered place at the back, suitable for washing machine... that's really perfect imo Bro robert, Mine is B1 i think, so the back do not have a covered area like A1. But, the back they provide yard with a tap to be used as laundry area.

QUOTE(robert82 @ Jun 3 2015, 06:06 PM) I am not 100% sure about your unit layout, but my thoughts would be, if you have a maid room at the back, can consider to utilize it to place the washing machine? As for Interior Designer, I am looking too, can’t help lol. Hahaha, bro robert. Planning to use the maid room as utility and remove the utility room under the staircase. I plan to put in a pool table hence, need space maximisation. And, washing machine outside easier, will be a wet area after wet kitchen.

QUOTE(Jasoncat @ Jun 3 2015, 06:30 PM) Why don't try getting the contact of the ID used by SEH? Personally I quite like the ID - simple and nice. I like theirs too bro, but am looking for designer only, not design and build. I have my own contractor and carpenter. Abit difficult to find one who specialises in designing.

QUOTE(Jasoncat @ Jun 3 2015, 06:46 PM) I think phase 2 & 3 have restrictions under the DMC - so cannot suka-suka do external renovation or anything that will change the colour or the facade of the building. Yeah, restricted on changing the facade..but this is the yard space, so, hopefully can. Also, any idea how the fencing gonna be in between these houses (Semi-D). Is it the same as the 8-10ft fencing in P1?

QUOTE(gtfan @ Jun 3 2015, 06:53 PM) Yes. It is all part of community living. Can't change the front fascade. If putting awning at the side or back, it is fine as long as sp agrees to it. People who wanna do ah kow ah beng reno exterior will be umhappy. Guess they are better off buying non g n g. Awning can use the retractable one. Not an issue. Will sought approval for the yard la. Just to cover the laundry equipments and to dry clothes.

QUOTE(robert82 @ Jun 3 2015, 06:56 PM) Not phase 2 & 3, they call it Presinct 2 & 3. Else may confuse those phase 2 buyers. I'm hoping front awning is ok, but need clarification. The porch design really sucks, cannot fully cover the car Exactly, takkan want to park the car right at the door. Pointless to have big porch / lengthy porch. I dont mind putting up the retractable awning - but wont have enough lights. Maybe some simple awning would suffice.

QUOTE(gtfan @ Jun 3 2015, 07:13 PM) If I can have my way and sp allows...I would have make use of the car porch slab as a balcony for the master bedroom The huge space on top of the concrete slab is a waste. It could be a small mini garden or a place to chill out with your partner. This one still doable without changing the facade what. Just modify one of the window to be like a door .. then can go out and make a balcony. some simple garden for zen feeling and chillout at night. Not as if we gonna be in the balcony every day.

QUOTE(gtfan @ Jun 3 2015, 07:22 PM) Good point there. I wonder those people who buy EH bungalow land, are they free to build whatever they want or there is certain uniformity that they have to follow ? Imagine one guy build single storey, another neighbour build 5 storeys, another just build a kg atap house coz he misses kampung living....hehehe Dont think its gonna be freeflow style. Will need to endorse by SPS before can build, if not rojak leh. Eye sore.

QUOTE(gtfan @ Jun 4 2015, 04:45 PM) I checked with SA, they says cannot. I think it also depends on your windows design. Those with full length window may easily swap with a glass door. I think mine is full glass at the master bedroom - just swap the window with open-able one, then shud be fine without changing the design

QUOTE(lusiao123 @ Jun 4 2015, 05:09 PM) I am using a european ID who lives here quote me around 30K ID fees. I can ask him to do bulk order quotation at cheaper rate if someone interested..what you guys think 30K for ID is steep. I am willing to fork out at most 5-7k. Its just for kitchen and living.
