hehe their new toy, a mooncake wooden container. Its too nice to throw away. Hopw the gerbils dont destroy it too quickly.

Congrats on the pied agouti, I got Pixie from Pets Wonderland too, hehe... so thats the last pied they have there?

Ah yes, I wanted to get a he too, but all the nice pieds were girls. Even now all my pieds are girls,haha...

Pixie does not want to be mated =.= She bit Neo's butt. I guess shes not in heat... have to try again in a few days. Poor Neo, he was running for his life

Well, Pixie never really liked Neo in the first place. She prefered Kedem, the father of her current kids. But she did mate with Neo a month ago, just too bad no pups came of it, haha... I can't use Kedem again though, he has allergies, better not to breed him.

Neo is the PEW, the white one in my signature. hehe....

yes they will when they are older, unless there is still a dominent mating pair in their tank.

Breed her with a dove lo... if you are lucky then she would have the red eyed gene, then can get more colors of babies. If she doesnt have then you will get agoutis, or agouti and blacks.

SP will usually come out on 50% of babies. But it varies, can be 25% or 75% at times.
I had a problem with introducing Pixie to my gerbils when I got her, she fights with them. Thats one of the reasons I bred her, she gets along well with her daugthers now.

Yes true its better not to give away pets for free unless you know your friend is really a pet lover. So far those I gave away for free are still doing fine with my friend. He probably knows I will murder him if he doesnt take good care of them haha....

Buy plain one is better. Gerbils are not smelly so its not needed to have apple or lemon smell in their shavings, might even irritate their noses.

Max is 8 years.... but more commonly its around 4 years la.
