Bad news for Sarawakian (and Sabahan), Jabatan Haiwan of Sarawak is very strict towards all the animals imported into the state. A minimum quarantine period of 6 months is needed. My friend wanna import her dog back to Swk from West Mas, and from what i heard, it needs 6 months of quarantine, bloodtest which is only available in Ipoh which take up months, and if you need faster time, you have to send to Aus which took only 1 week but it's very costly. These are some of the procedures that need to be followed to get the permit into Swk, fail to do so will get your pets put to sleep.

getting more strict ah? last yr my friend move to KK 1 mth quan only..

yes very strict one.. kopi kau kau also canot.. but thinking if the officer infomative or not.. maybe call again n ask an other officer.. see got difference answer? hehhe

Just found out it's not the Jabatan Haiwan one... it's a vet and he in charge of the import of animals into the state, even Jabatan Haiwan have to go through him...

what i know MAS had animal hotel that i think to transfer animal to outside peninsular malaysia..but i herad from people if cat and dog or big animal..it is ok..but rodents always failed to broad away...
btw i dont know much about this matter..better ask who is expert and experience la..

hahah...ya... if dog and cats ok... cause its quite normal bah but for rodent... i also dunno how.... lol
