gerbils ok:) still kicking..
moli dont think its good to mix, cos fat tail is like syrian hamster.. very slow motion.. while the mongolian is active.
fat tail is not interested what happan around them, until u can put them any way... they just ignore it.. thats y they can be very tamed.

Are you so sure?

Though I do read that online on some sites, my fat tails are very curious and quite active. They are aggressive towards each other though, and should never be kept together. They fight a lot worse than syrians.
I currently have 5 baby duprasis, and 8 adults. One thing about them is that they tend to nip. Pokey in the picture is the only one that doesn't. So these 5 babies are going to be handled from an early stage so they can be tamed.
Another thing I've learned about them is that some of them will freeze when you're holding them. Maybe that's why they said fat tails are quiet and uninterested in their surroundings.

Luckily i asked. phew~~
But fat tailed do look cute with the tail. Hahahaha... Seldom see in petshop as well.
If you put a duprasi with a mongolian, you're gonna get lotsa blood.
Duprasis are actually much more fun than syrians, and also, they stink less. Not just that! They outlive syrians. Syrians can live 2 to 3 years. Duprasis are about 5 to 7 years. Mine are quite inquisitive and active.
