it is true... maybe will noisy a bit, but the whole area will become energetic and young~~u can hear the sound of "po po chui"

last time i was ktar and stay at setapak.. after graduate and go back to that area also have those feeling..

Yup based on history cybercafes and eateries is blooming like mushroom in 2006-2007 when UTAR started in Sg Long.

年輕學生的湧入,明顯帶動雙溪龍的房地產、飲食業。在高峰時期,單是第一區就有30間茶室和咖啡店,另外還有7間的網絡咖啡座,市容欣欣向榮。

i think now the chinese eateries is less than 15....and don't forget this time is utar is all in, 10 years ago...sg long was just one of their campus.

在这期间,希望学生尽量避免驾车上课,因为今早有业者投诉,指学生上午7时许就把车子停在店前,然后在车内温书。

学生的上课时间是从上午9时至下午5时,这意指他们占用停车位的时间长,这样一来,居民到商业区将难找到停车位。



i think when the multilevel car park is finished and MPKJ start to collect the money for parking, it will reduce the problem here....

u gaiz jam outside with car, utar student jam inside building struggle to get into lift.

dusty, no wifi, top 3 floor no aircond coz still patching things up.
only 4 lift available , maybe will improve once engineering students skips classes brows.gif

how many floors actually?
below top 3 are all in good condition?
only 4 lift available means only got 4 lifts or more than 4 but only 4 are operating at the moment?

The total land area of UTAR old and new campus only 3.77 acres (1.88 +1.89) sure jam lah, do you have any idea what is the build up for new campus, I only know old campus has 200,000 square feet build up

I thought Permata Residence is a condo sell to public, and beside has a PR1MA apartment?
It is quite far from Taman Rakan to Sg Long UTAR.

where they want to build the multilevel car park?

I heard the private carpark is own by the developer.
Hopefully they will build a multi-storey car park and apartment there.

Not that far lah about 2.8km based on Google map, Permata Residence is just in front of Tropicana Cheras, got free UTAR bus service later I supposed.

But I doubt the condo can be ready in 2 years time, I went there few weeks ago seem only very small part got piling other empty.

According to this blog, all bread are out of stock in 8/6/2015 morning because of UTAR tongue.gif

放学回家,听朋友室友说,
想买面包当早餐都买不到,便利店、杂货店、药材店全缺货
是怎样,双溪龙突然变成某某大集会场所结束后的混乱...
结果往往避不可免的,以后要怎么办啊?

这只是开学第一天呐!!

yes...it's sell to public, but seems like the sales is not very ok...walk is far, by bus just 5 min rclxms.gif

but taman rakan is quite run down..scary to walk alone at night rclxub.gif
