DP

DP should be fine, unless cable faulty or not good enough quality. Might be setting then, check nVidia panel.

Oic..no wonder my youtube video didn't work out...Thx
I'm using this cable now Fibbr Fiber DP to DP cable
I did try out a USB C to DP cable still the same problem. Later I go back try with its own bundle DP cable see whether still the same or not
Yes already set as DP v1.4

My x34 only works with stock DP cable, I bought some brand DP cable that's nearly rm100 but it wont work doh.gif

now is 100Hz RGB 10 bit, once set to 144Hz the screen start flickering
only managed to run 144Hz when set as YCbCr422 10 bit
Max resolution is 3440 X 1440

the 144Hz is it 'OC' spec ? Asking coz:
my x34's 100Hz are OC spec, means they cant guaranteed 100% of product can achieve it. From forum reads, most people can get it run 100Hz but there's some that can only reach lik 90 95Hz.

Anyway, for me, 100/120/144 dont felt big difference. Depends on different people, my eyes cant felt the difference when above 90Hz biggrin.gif

Congratulate! smile.gif Great to know that, means your monitor no issue but the cable you bought instead got issue.

Maybe you can request refund to Amazon if you are bought from Amazon, highlight your issue, and normally Amazon will manage to refund you.

Haiz, in msia we can never do that.
I tried asked before at big IT mart chainstore like All-IT, they said cant do something like if I bought expensive DP cable from you but if it doesnt work as intended can refund or change.

Hence when I redo my computer table and monitor layout, I have limitation due to stock cable length sad.gif

Malaysia cannot, but if you bought from Amazon then can as long you can proof to them it is defective or not as advertised.

I did few refund or replacement cases in Amazon before.

Ya Amazon is good.
Many years back I ordered leather strap, after 3 weeks ( typical US shipping time ) havent received, I emailed them, new strap shipped out on the day. Funny thing, I received the original 1st parcel next day they sent out 'replacement'. 5 stars for them.

I rarely order from Amazon d, coz waiting time, shipping cost, and likely wont ship to msia at all.

Ya, last time I always order from Amazon, but no more due to currency issue.

Amazon service is the best I ever seen.

Example great service I get from Amazon

  • Item not arrive after end of promise period, I inform and Amazon immediate send out replacement using fast courier services and mentioned if the previous one if arrive then just keep it.
  • Box is rotten, the actual item do no impact, Amazon straight send the replacement. Original item no need send back.
  • The Nexus 6 phone just ended warranty where I already sold to lowyat member here but happen issue later, the buyer manage to claim for it by himself where I only need to provide confirmation email from Amazon later.

That's wow.
