I decided to pay extra for the piece of mind. Imagine you have stuck pixels on your xiaomi....how to claim warranty... at least Cooler Master have official office here.
*
The xiaomi is officially here, comes with 3-year local warranty though. So I suppose claiming warranty would be the same like their phones.

Cooler Master panel is really very bright and the colours.... * smacks lips* is almost samsung oled tv like. go see it in the shops then decide.
*
Ya the best way to decide is to see both in action with your own eyes. Know where I can see CM's demo unit?

Hi guys, was thinking of getting the xiaomi ultra wide monitor.
How does one watch full screen movies on it ? And if I open Microsoft word , can I position like half screen word and half screen browser or need to use software to split the screen ?
Thanks guys
*
Most movies would go full screen 21:9 smile.gif at least the ones that I've experienced.

The half screen thing is more of a Windows feature. You just click and hold the top bar of your word and pull it all the way to the side, windows will automatically make it half of your screen

Now that I look at it, I think a 65" diagonal ( 60" horizontal 25" vertical ) 21:9 will be awesome. I think at that distance, 2160P will be good.

Shot with ultrawide, monitor shown is 34" ( damn it looks tiny here )
