QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Aug 22 2022, 09:39 AM) Backlight bleeding is bleed of light from every edge corner where you can actually seen the light bleed out. Uniformity is not backlight bleeding but inconsistent of the backlight. That is not bleeding. When using for productivity, you cannot seen the Uniformity issue as it is not that obvious compare with BLB. Flashlighting and clouding are also included in BLB not just edge leak .... regardless it's just Syntax referring to the same thing: just that one includes also edge leak and one does not while also being specific and generalisation respectively... QUOTE(onthefeet @ Aug 22 2022, 11:42 AM) Thank you for your advice and suggestion. It seems like with my current budget, I guess my best bet is Acer XZ342CUP or even LG 34WP500 (Yes, I know it is 2560 X 1080 ultrawide. But as far as I know, the pixelation can only be observed if you sit very close to the monitor. When I watch the reviews, I actually find it quite ok for me ). I have been using a TFT-LCD panel with a resolution of 1366 x 768 for the past 9 - 10 yrs and I never experienced IPS / TN / VA panel before, so I don't really know how well or how bad for a different type of panel. I think I should go to the physical store to try out the VA panel and see if I can accept the black smearing issue.. Thank you for sharing your experience with me. It is good to know that you don't have the disappearing issue while scrolling because I guess this is the issue that irritate most of the non-gamer user and also my biggest concern because I just don't want to switch to a monitor that I have to scroll-stop-sroll-stop everytime just to read part of the text. I don't think I will ever use my monitor in complete darkness as I always prefer my room / environment in bright. Purchase acer XZ342CU P before 30/9.... you can get touch n Go RM50 also... https://www.a-redemption.com/

QUOTE(onthefeet @ Aug 22 2022, 04:45 PM) Thanks for telling me. I guess if I were to purchase Acer XZ342CUP, I think I will buy it from Just IT Technology at Shopee. It is much more cheaper there and so I don't think they have such promotion/event though. I see... Because it is not written in their website, so I don't really know. Purchase it... then claim it at the site" independently with your receipt.... Same goes for warranty... 3 years... anything wrong, claim from Acer Malaysia... QUOTE(year2020 @ Apr 12 2023, 05:21 PM) Hi, can anyone give suggestion on 34" 1440p ultrawide monitor that has usb-c pd? sadly i am looking for among cheapest option and simply for work purpose, working on excel spreadsheet, browsing etc. if it matter, i plan to eventually buy 2 set and close the lid of my monitor when using it. I suppose the lid of your laptop.... Get the cheapest/most worth it 34" with PD input.... get a usb-c to DP with PD input or with a DP mst hub so that you can use one usb-c port with DP-out (DP 1.4 of your laptop)...
