Thank you! Alcatel looks sweet. Someone recommended Redmi Note 2 to me. How's that phone compares? I'm not too savvy in phone business  blush.gif

The Redmi Note 2, is way better for its best value-to-price if you can afford it. The Flash 2 is someway somehow good for selfies.

Brand: Anything but Samsung.
Budget: RM 600 or below.
Specs: He needs a lot of storage.
What did he need in his phone: He's going to watch anime in it.

Hi ,

Need advice on new phone:

1. Brand: any (china brand not preferable wor)
2. Budget: Around 1,000
3. Specs: Good Battery lifespan and can take nice picture (better or similar quality with asus zenfone 2)
4. What you need in the phone: For girl, taking phone and battery stamina is priority
5. Currently, using Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) as benchmark.... want better phone than that.
*
I'm not too sure which one is comparable as the Zenfone 2 ZE551ML, but I can tell you which one comes close with it. You can pick up a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S5 for about RM 968 with TREAT11 code at Lazada. It's comparable to the Zenfone 2 albeit last year's flagship. Another one which I can recommend is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. Pretty much comparable with the Zenfone 2 as well despite being a Chinese phone. You can get it for RM 577 with TREAT11.

Budget: < rm200. The cheaper the better.
Usage: hotspot

Preference: Good battery life.
*
Hmm.... relatively good battery life for an under RM 200 phone and you are planning to use it as a hotspot? You can go for iNew U1, which is relatively new. Alcatel Pixi (3.5) is not that bad, but don't expect anything too good due to its extremely small screen. Or what about a new under RM 200 phone- Leagoo Alfa 4? This is preferably one of the best cheap phones sub-RM 200, and its Quad-core makes a nice selling point.

hi,

need a cheap budget phone, urgent.
whatsapp,gmail,telegram,ok camera, good battery.
RM350 max.

thanks.
*
Some of the good phones that you can buy under RM 350:
-Asus Zenfone C. Currently using it. Personally, as long you don't do a lot of stuff, this would be at least ideal. Camera is pretty much so-so, but if you plan to do it on slightly dark area, this would at least do an okay work.
-Lenovo A2010. Pretty much a competitor to the Zenfone C. Has 4G, Android 5.1 Lollipop and 64-bit processor, which is quite ahead there. The only quirk is that it's not that fast, and also the camera is also so-so, according to a review.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 Enhanced, Alcatel Flash 2 or Leagoo Elite 4. Would recommend the Flash 2 more for good performance, although the other two are actually good as well.

you think this is a good choice or there are better options

Quite okay, but if you badly need more storage, then you better off go with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 or the Plus variant of the A7000.

1. Brand. Any and easy get in market
2. Budget. Preferably less than RM500
3. Specs. As smooth as possible and good battery, 3gb ram if possible? With SD card slot.
4. What you need in the phone. Big screen, use for internet browsing, and play games.

It's for my mother. She's using A369 and this phone suck balls. laugh.gif So planning to get her a new phone instead.
*
Would recommend Xiaomi Redmi 2 Enhanced for have the best value for RM 500 albeit small screen. If you want more value maybe you should top up RM 150 for a Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. Unless you have a tight budget, these would be good.

Would go for Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. Has a better value-for-money against the A7000+, although the A7000+ is not that bad.

looking for snapdragon..not mt

P1m is powered by Mediatek MT6735M. While it was okay for daily use for it's big battery, playing heavy games is a big no-no. For that I would prefer Xiaomi Redmi 2 Enhanced for better performance. Bear in mind that that was my opinion.
