Hi, anyone here registered for Oneplus Two on Maxis website?

I see from the instruction, registered for invite is start on 14 August 2015, then they will choose the person to get the invitation from September.
It is not guarantee you can get the invite.
I see Maxis website now has closed the invitation, and only validate invitation for those chosen.

The RRP for Oneplus Two listed on Maxis website is RM1687, plus GST will be RM1788.22.
The website don't list the phone spec whether is 16GB or 64GB version.

Seems the price is not that competitive for this moment.

64GB not enough use meh sweat.gif ==

even my friend get 64GB also dunno how to put his ass of pain the games into his phone laugh.gif

erm if said original... u need to confirm with Satu Gadget, 7 Mobile, Direct D and some distro

but local[64GB Sandstone Blk] unit cost you 1270[1199+6% GST] whistling.gif

PS: Import unit dropped till shakehead.gif ... 64GB RM 1049 [white/black]

tl:dr i get 16GB Bamboo model, which that time i bought from Dialog Hub.... and what i can said, storage for me is 0-worries cause i didn't used so much of apps at all and music and anime, yes haha , can 'piles' up to 4-5GB + 3Gb apps quite ok dy... why not
*
Hahaha..The more the better isn't it? And can switch files/content between hp(s) easily.. biggrin.gif

Actually not really into gaming, just that I would prefer to keep the custom ROM files at external card and format the internal memory everytime I do flash it.
Without the external card storage, I can't format the internal space before I flash new ROM. sweat.gif

As you mentioned Import unit is 64GB RM 1049 [white/black], anything different in term of hardware? outlook?
The imported [black] is not [Sandstone Blk]?

There is no guarantee which phone will get Marshmallow update, it is depend on manufacturer and developer, even getting Lollipop update is still in question in some region.
I can't answer for the custom rom support as well.

But, if you want your bet is save, I can tell is, the most popular phone, or flagship phone from big company will likely get Marshmallow update, (Samsung S5, Sony Z2, Honor 7, Oneplus One), but not guarantee every region will get it.

Phone from Xiaomi, Meizu, ASUS, Lenovo, will be half chance to get updated to Marshmallow, if they are already released one year ago, then the chances of update is getting less and less. They will focus on new device to getting the Marshmallow, and slowly push out update to older device, but no guarantee they will get it.

Of course, the same thing happen on custom rom too, most popular phone will get much wider and faster developer support, as oppose to those that is not popular.

One last thing, even your phone is not updated to Marshmallow, your phone will still doing fine for years.
I have a two year old phone, that just running on Android Jelly bean 4.2.2. and I can install anything on it without having any issue.
Even at some point, I do find out Google Play blocking me to install some apps, where I was mention my device is not compatible, I still can search for APK for the apps, and install to that phone anyway, and running without any issue.

In term of speed, that phone is not slow either. Having a SD 800 processor, it simply excel in speed, and can run any high end game smoothly that I install.

Yeah. Thanks for your reminder.
Probably I will choose between Honor 7 and Oneplus One. And try to avoid those not-so-famous user groups.

But both have a bit drawback for me..
Honor 7 [No app drawer, not pure android experience] Not sure how's it like to flash H7...
Oneplus One [No ext card slot]

Not sure any other model out there that have both covered.... rclxub.gif

For Honor 7, you can install custom launcher for getting back the App Drawer. Not pure android experience is not much of a problem either, as all apps experience will still the same. Unless you really favor to pure Android, then Nexus and Motorola phone will be the better choice.

For Oneplus One, just get the 64GB version for more memory. Even without card slot, 64GB is still pretty big, you will take time to fill up the phone with apps, photo, and video file. Well, unless you wan store something more than 64GB, then look else where.

Both phone are good in their own way.

Budget : Max RM 900 ( preferably 600-700 )

Actually i have done my own research which i came down to 3 choices . which price range from 600- 900 .

Meizu m1 note, Meizu Mx 4 and Xiao Mi4.

1. i am a basic phone user, not a gaming user, perhaps some card games or unblock me which required basic power. normally apps i used heavily is whatsapps, fb messenger, insta, camera .

2. i need GPS working ( lock within 10 second seems reasonable for me ) cause i will lost my way if i dont use GPS .

So recommend me if you guys have used this phone personally, give me some few suggestion if you knew i can buy something better with my budget. thanks guys

Haven't used any but u should avoid meizu. If I'm not wrong they use mediatek chips which is not very good for GPS. My redmi can't even lock with waze.

So that leaves u with mi4. Good choice since I wanted to get that before. But I got honor 6 and I can vouch for its quality. Honestly one of my favourite phones so far

Hi guys,

My nexus 4 broke down. Served me more than 1 year. I need a good phone that can serve me long long time. So I definitely want a flagship phone for my next phone. I'm mulling between iPhone 6 and Xperia Z5 but maybe u guys got better suggestions or can help me choose between these two smile.gif

Ipong 6s is a nono since very expensive tongue.gif

I'm a normal user. Just using phone for camera, music, browsing, youtube, chat, etc. No game at all. Data on 24/7. I just need a phone that's good out of the box and no lag lag. Thanks tongue.gif

Go with the iPhone 6. When they roll out the updates, you can get it instantly.

Oooo. Can anyone update me on this? Since I heard a lot on mediatek not good for GPS. Did they manage to solve it? Are some chips compatible and others less?

I've been avoiding quite a few mediatek phones just solely on GPS issues even tho I'm very interested in them.

You no state budget how to recommend you? If you want iPhone 6S, only the iPhone 6S 64GB and iPhone 6S Plus 64GB are usable. The 16GB are barely usable..

Android, I would recommend you Nexus 6P or LG G4.
