Guys, which phone more bang for buck?

Looking at Honor 6 since price drop to 899.

Or Mi4i, Meizu mx4 or Honor 4x?

Is Honor 6 dual sim and how do these phones perform in terms of GPS?

Honor 6 if original Malaysia set only single sim, but u can get Honor 6 dual sim set which is original import set from sellers like DirectD. Of coz warranty can only be claimed from the shop that u purchase.

Kirin chipsets (Honor) is quite good in GPS detection based on what I've been reading in Honor 6 thread. Phones powered by Snapdragon processor also have good GPS detection and stable too. Just avoid Intel or Mediatek phones as they take more time for GPS to lock in. Maybe around 8-10 seconds, which is too long imho.

Thanks!

How does honour 6 compare to one plus one? I heard better things from opo, but does the price reduction make honour 6 a better deal?

And I read a review that says honor 6 doesn't come with corning gorilla glass? Is it true?

Sensei Agreed this... but if u said for those China phones with software and firmware stablilty, i vouch to Huawei even is slow but they are freakingly stable smile.gif coz since mi Inc. are famously on bang buck budget and baffling to compromise those <insert firmware versions> till the end, gives bullshits Firmware bugs for MIUI 6 or eqv.as well and i dun see any China Phone maker can did this well

*
So, you're saying that Huawei's firmware is quite reliable? Better than that of miui? Cause i'm having a pretty good time with my xiaomi now. Had a redmi and used redmi note awhile then went back to redmi 2. Now i want an upgrade, like mi4i. But i see honor 6 seems like a better deal than mi4i.

Im not to picky on getting the latest updates in firmware, as long as it can perform smooothly. I only use my phone for basic games, gps and occasional insta-worthy photos.

if u free a bit just go read thru the forums on MIUI, members says everything and i didn't said MIUI is bad IMHO... is freaking unstable during handling my sister's Redmi note 4G and friend's Mi4

till the end, he flashed CM 12 S into his Mi4... so what's the point u gotta to shove me up?
*
Dude, chill. You misunderstand me. I have zero idea on Huawei's developed UI. I didn't shit on your opinion. I'm just clarifying what you meant coz i didnt understand your previous post too clearly. If you are saying that EMUI is way more stable than MIUI, then all the better for me since i'm going for Honor 6 instead of continuing my MI range which i have enjoyed.

this my way to reply like those kind people like u who never do homework before u posting some shits doh.gif

anyway... if u like MIUI, u go ahead... and I'm quite sastisfy EMUI well since grabbed from Ascend mate till Honor 6 right now...
*
OMG, You still don't get my post. Read properly, I didn't dismiss your claim. I like MIUI perhaps coz i use my phone for basic use. I don't have a clue on EMUI, so from your post, you seem to imply EMUI stable, and that's good for me. But your post was unclear, you may have been dissing EMUI for all I know, so i replied to get clarification. So, just because I say i like MIUI, I'm posting some shits without doing homework? Read carefully before shitting on other people's post.

But anyway, I got your message, EMUI is good, that's all i needed to know.

Hi can recommend good smartphone with good camera
brand : anything
budget : below RM1000
purpose : use for selfies, take photos n some gaming
*
Mi budget phones are surprisingly good in camera department. But mi4i isn't one for gaming i guess.

Mi4? might be slightly above 1000, but no idea on cam quality. selfie cam is 8mp tho.

Hey all..

Sadly I just lost my phone and now am using aa secondhandd Samsung s5. So not in too much rush to get a new one but do want one eventually coZ I loved my previous honor 6 so much more.

But I don't really want to get another honor 6 but its basically what I look for in a phone. Very bang for buck and reliable. Virtually no lag or bad experience at all.

What phone would you recommend? Mr sir mudkipryan gave an excellent recommendation for the honor 6. Any current phones that good?

Price range about 1k? Not in too much rush so can wait for soon to release phone. Chipset is important coz I use waze a lot. I heard mediatek no good for that.

You can have OPPO Find 7 at RM 998 (yes, you got it) or Xiaomi Mi 4. Both are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.

Isn't find7 quite expensive previously? How much cheaper is it now?

It was about RM 1798 if I weren't mistaken. That would be a good deal given the fact that you get a Quad HD screen and flagship-like performance (as it was last year's flagship). Just be careful about the battery life- it can be pretty bad because of the 2K screen.
*
Wow, crazy stuff.

Now I'm torn between find7 and honor 7. The quad HD and immense PPI is quite attractive.

Budget : Max RM 900 ( preferably 600-700 )

Actually i have done my own research which i came down to 3 choices . which price range from 600- 900 .

Meizu m1 note, Meizu Mx 4 and Xiao Mi4.

1. i am a basic phone user, not a gaming user, perhaps some card games or unblock me which required basic power. normally apps i used heavily is whatsapps, fb messenger, insta, camera .

2. i need GPS working  ( lock within 10 second seems reasonable for me ) cause i will lost my way if i dont use GPS .

So recommend me if you guys have used this phone personally, give me some few suggestion if you knew i can buy something better with my budget. thanks guys
Haven't used any but u should avoid meizu. If I'm not wrong they use mediatek chips which is not very good for GPS. My redmi can't even lock with waze.

So that leaves u with mi4. Good choice since I wanted to get that before. But I got honor 6 and I can vouch for its quality. Honestly one of my favourite phones so far

im using meizu m2 note btw.
no problem with gps.
very fast lock less than 10-15 sec
*
Oooo. Can anyone update me on this? Since I heard a lot on mediatek not good for GPS. Did they manage to solve it? Are some chips compatible and others less?

I've been avoiding quite a few mediatek phones just solely on GPS issues even tho I'm very interested in them.

Sorry for hijacking question. What's online or offline GPS?

Anyway, honor 6 GPS works very well, in general.

Oh I see. Thank you very much for the info!
Another one : What are the common problems with honor 6? Is it still a good buy now?
*
Based on personal experience, not much cons on honor 6.

For me, the ui might be a little too simplistic, and the phone overall design is nothing much to behold.

It was once one of the cheapest 3gb ram phone around, with a reliable build. Didn't know huawei made such solid phones.

But who knows, honor 6+ might drop price due to honor 7. And honor 7 gives a pretty good upgrade to honor 6 if u have a little more cash to spare.

Thanks - But any of those are all inclusive of the points I've placed?
Off the top of my head: LG  and Z3 does not have a fingerprint scanner. Will look at the Huaweis and Lenovo.
*
Honor 7 has and from reviews, it's finger print scanner sounds very impressive

Xiaomi: If you are tech savvy: Mi4C 32GB, otherwise, Mi Note 64GB (camera have OIS)
Huawei: G8 (camera have OIS) or Honor 7
*
Why mi4c if tech savvy?

BTW, which is better base on performance, the g8 or honor 7? I feel like honor 7 wins in most other aspects but the price is similar.

Honor 7 also come with irremovable battery right? Yeah, I think skip M9+ due to the battery. I'm interested with Honor 7 but comparison for the camera vs 1+2 really disturb my decision. Haha... And then, seems like Huawei G8 is the better camera for Honor 7, but slower in CPU and GPU.
*
Is the camera for one plus 2 very much better than honor 7? Is g8 much better as well?

Honor 7 and op2 pros and cons? Considering I don't do heavy gaming. Which means the weaker gpu of honor7 won't affect much And the overheating of op2 should not happen.
