come on la, not all malaysian have the same habit like you.
not everyone in malaysia want to own a car, and not all of us like to go to mamak stall.
strict public rules?? lol this sounds childish to me, that means you like malaysia because you can break rule easily??

i rather got my time being controlled by public transport than controlled by crazy traffic jam in KL/Penang. laugh.gif

it's just for you, don't generalize everyone like they have the same thinking as you.

Guys and Gals,

Do you think Malaysian graduate can easily find job there? Or you guys advice after getting job experience?
*
Most of my friends who just graduate from local uni got the job in sg quite easily.
I heard private university/college fresh graduate will be harder to find a job there as sg govt don't recognize those certs.

Oh, that is interesting. May I know how your friends sourced their job from? Malaysia newspaper (TheStar, NST), Online or word-of-mouth?
*
you can try jobstreet or jobsdb.
the best should be sg Straits Times newspaper.
there are three recruitment sections (at least 50 pages) for saturday.

I think 1 hour can get you arrive sg custom checkpoint. another 30minutes for custom checking.
So total would be 1.5 hours for tampines >> msia custom(IF everything goes smooth).
it will be more if u stay far away from JB downtown.
His friend got car, you gotta queue and wait for public transport.
It's painful journey especially the checkpoint still on tight security because of Mat Selamat escape.

May i know where is the best place to buy some electronic gadgets or computer items in singapore? Like PSP, motherboards or LCD monitors
*
Do not go to SimLim Square for game console like PSP, NDSL..etc.
They are famous to con newbie, and the price also not cheap. shakehead.gif

it's a good place to get other pc components though.

Watch out for those shops especially on the ground floor.  not all are like that, but typical con case, even locals kanna... take you time browse around before buying.

I did what you say, at the end got a very bad experience with their salesman. doh.gif

i hv juz got a job in singapore n joining u all in the working life in singapore~~
hehe...quite excited~~
juz got room ther...
now waiting to start work n also do the other stuff..
got some problem deciding phone lines n broadband...any kind soul out ther can giv some advice??
i got bit confused wit all those plans n also value added stuff
wat are all those?
*
for mobile, it depends on your area.
if it's near to the town then you can choose which telco you like(singtel, starhub or m1 with the best package)
for your info starhub signal strength is poor for some area like tunnel or lift.

as for broadband, recommend you to get singtel or starhub wireless broadband(trouble free if shift to other house).
avoid m1 at all cost, their bandwith and coverage s*** big time.

you should ask all the details before signing the contract.

Hmm Maybe i should just pay those Freaking Blood suckers... I dont think i can skip this meeting but i dont know wether i will be able to make it pass their custom. Beside the amount i owe them should be very minimal.. A few hundred bucks at most. But you know how Singaporean's are.. They have plain cloths police to monitor smokers.. They fine you for jay walking... I just dont wan to make a scene during the trip because i will be travelling with a few high level executive from my company... God damn it... how am i gonna get out of this mess
*
I don't think you can access to sg anymore before settle the debts.
it's better go down earlier to clear those problem first otherwise you might be in big trouble on the meeting day.
