nope im not rotating engineer, my background is Mechanical engineering with majoring in turbo machinery,thermal engineering. . if i do go for the IV, get selected it will be some deviation from my current drilling job scope but i wont be too alien since i did study them need some schooling probably ahhaha.

Well you willbe the PM but also note that it's field PM, so expectation for you to have great knowledge on the product itself is essential.
