Really broke after getting the case ...

besides that the original HDD cage provide really good noise cancellation for HDDs...

before i switch to this case .. my old Lian Li disguised case have strong vibration issue at the HDD cage ... the only sound visible from the case is the HDD seeking noise .. but now ..whoa lah ...all gone...
*
haha..but no regrets right?...anyway this really looks good,

Attached Image Attached Image

at least much better than the ex 34...only thing is whether the airflow is better than the ex 34 coz the holes look tiny. Btw its called the LL34modper and designed by some norwegian/swedish or some european folks for LL for the 343 casing

If u calculate the total surface area of the holes, it's a whole lot more than the  tiny slats in the old cage. Plus this is a whole lot better looking.  thumbup.gif

hehe..ill take your word for it...maths abit karat oredi

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Jan 25 2007, 05:06 PM)
Yeah...selling here di. Compared with the EX34.. it's only 3 disk.
*

QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Jan 25 2007, 06:54 PM)
ATE sells it? what's the price? does it comes with filter?
*
dont know whether sniper is interested in shipping in, bet its still cheaper than ATE....if they do bring in

err..last sentence looks bulk related...not meant to be that way...anyway mod feel free to XXXX as you see fit

best is you take it to ATE as i see your eject button is flushed with the front, so the LL bezel might not be able to make contact. Alingment wise both the buttons on the LL and your dvdrw shud align.

Doom,

what i meant was the the plate at the back of the bezel button could be wider than the eject button on the sony...so if its not flexible u might not be able to depress it in as the sony buttons doesnt pop out like most dvdrw's..anyway a rough sketch....the plate is abt 26mm wide n not sure how flexible

I finally got some time to play around with my newly purchase casing, PC-B20A

Basically nothing much it can be done with the limited time i have since im so busy with my final year project but somehow here is what i manage to do for the night...

I practically took out almost every part my casing  tongue.gif

Quite a lot of things i remove and added in the Silverstone together with HR-01 and you may not notice but i manage to place 4 anti-vibration rubber in between both the HR-01 and Silverstone fan

Currently i'm dead tired so a lot of things i didn't explain so when i have the time again then i provide more better detail and image on my rig  thumbup.gif

I had an old casing Icute gives me a lot of noise , i even went to lowyat to find a vibration damper but don't seem to found one.The Icute casing are SL series , the front fan stop working at the first year i bought and i don't even know how to take out the fan. It's totally seal up , i really don't know how to open the front panel.
I have one power supply , one 12cm fan and cpu cooler master fan but it still gives an engine type of noise. Now my motherboard already spoil , realy fed up with my pc.Warranty will take like months since the age are 2 years plus going to be 3.Now i plan to get a new motherboard but i don't know how to assemble my pc even i read back my old asus baord manual.

Sorry for out of topic , just want to ask , since i plan to get one lian li casing where most of my friends said it's good.
I just want a slient casing that's all.
The defination of a good casing is as good as dell dimension casing where it is total slient.
That's all I need.

Added on February 12, 2007, 10:33 pmMind i ask something ? what is the basic cabling or wayar to assemble a motherboard ? my soket is 478.My pc wayar is like a mess... more like a whole bunch of string tie up together.

If its Lian Li + added silence, then S80, really nice looking casing...in LL's minimalistic way....work of art....maybe a little restricted in terms of airflow

Here's a pix:

sorry mod if pix has been posted b4 but this casing deserves another post.

Heres a review:

im beginning to lean towards more silence also, anyway using 3 hdd but thinking of using 1 as external, not sure but i think aside frm gc n cpu...the next hottest heat generator is actually the hdd's

heres a pix i posted b4.....did try a 140mm fans but the like sniper mentioned earlier...doesnt handle back pressure well....the airflow was almost non existant...no kidding. Also tried panaflo medium bx, good fan n good cfm but had too much noise and vibration....anyway the easiest option for me is to leave the doors open...oh and the black rectangle is suppose to be what i think is the ideal position to place 2 hdd's in the front...provided theres actually a good 140mm fan as it can cool both hdd's and direct airflow around the drives.

the problem is the fan can blow wide enough to cover the whole HDD cage area... furthermore the the design of the cage also block the air by small portion.

solution wise either u reduce the HDD or get a lian li HDD cage and mount it at optical drive area.
www.myate.com, Steven@012-2044717
nope .. only a whole pack at ALL IT Hypermall ..
*
yup...thats why i tired the 140mm's...anyway i think im going to remove 1 hdd n use it as an external only...n leave the doors open most of the time....thx

What u need is that 2x120 fans mod u saw on that V2000.  laugh.gif

been thinking abt that but wondering where the airlfow is going to come frm as the intake is only for 1 x 120mm fan and that also quite restricted....if can then would definitely be ideal.
