hehe...got la...wanna keep some in case the filter koyak...so flimsy looking...also try play around with the oriention of the fan on the side panel like i mention to u earlier...good if can find a big piece so can cut to size

frm perfomance pcs right? half the price of ATE....shud be worth it

ooh..so thats the reason u wrote to LL....maybe also write to perfomrance pcs...higher chance of them answering if theyre around for xmas coz i wrote to LL b4 n no reply

i was asking them abt something else previously, anyway im still deciding whether i need it or not

think u better place an order n make sure they actually order it, coz i did order some small stuff n they totally forgot, despite it being in my order slip

how come nvr see this casing b4....n theyre using a different hdd rack cover....actually this casing is a fan fanatics dream come true...can move the fan up/down, reverse fan oerintation...add more hdd rack , think if experiment around with the fans based on what u put inside...doubt theres gonna be any heat issues

sniper pray tell whihc forum site did u find the pix....those r icydocks rights... means he using it as a raid/server box of some sort...think he got the right casing for it too... iinm thats like close to rm4k for the boxes...not inlcuding the hdd

since i'm done for the day, decided to compare the pros and cons , anyway here's a point by point abt my fav subjects, casings and air flow...feel free to correct me as i wan to see other views on this:

anyway here goes:

*looks/aesthetics wise...really tough choice, both also

*brand and the quality..think no need to elaborate

Other than the abv, my vote goes to A10 for the following reasons

*its compartmentalized...heatsource is seperate, looks more structured meaning it helps overall in coming to an easier n more practical solution to assembly, cooling, placement etc

*5mm thicker...might help in deciding what to put in...eq thicker hsf

*the layout makes for easier cable mgmt

*better airflow overall..u can even add an ex34 to make it better

*2 psu slots..aside frm being able to put 2 psu duhhh...u can also add another 80mm fan to exhaust more air...better still get a fm82...80mm fan with 92mm fins=higher cfm or mod the psu plate and paste 2 x fm82's
Also the heat thats not exhausted by the psu fan has another avenue of exhaust.

*aside frm that its slightly bigger..ie bigger workspace..alto not much in this case..but still better

just call ate la...iinm anything on the LL site they can bring in...., even the LL PC desk also can ...except maybe the pc 343, better still go to the shop n ask them...think their more than willing to show u any LL casing thats around coz they know once u see n feel any LL casing, highly likely u will come back lol.

Thats the "magic" word eveyone wants to know.... ...but since based on supply n demand n avaialbility...i wouldnt bet on it...fyi ATE stocks for LL are not kept very long....its a case of masuk keluar , maybe only the jet model move slow
