Today suddenly have the temptation to take out the front panel and do some mid-afternoon casing cleaning. Check out the dust collected at the front panel!!! It's only 1 week+ since I last clean the filter.
Followed Doom's and few other Lian li kaki suggestions to remove the rear mesh filter and replaced with grilled finger guard instead to improved air flow. Results : Seriously better air flow! and Slighly lesser noise... About the new PC-7S, it still does have the plastic thing.. This post has been edited by blessedvillain: May 23 2007, 02:51 PM |

I actually dun like the fugly control knobs and blue bling....then if i wan to control the knobs, i just open the front cover manually...possible?> |

QUOTE(vincent09 @ May 24 2007, 11:30 AM) Wa then everytime u need to control and take out the panel and take out the bezel and control? XD Ya.I need to push the fan controller inside a bit, then put the stealth CDROM bezel to cover it....hopefully the 4 screw slots (2 each side) for drive bays can let me fit the fan controller and the front bezel If can maybe your fan controller need to push back abit. QUOTE(fo33il @ May 24 2007, 12:04 PM) IMHO, u can put the controller in the casing....screw it to the floppy slot.... I think I can put the fan controllers facing inside the CPU as in, when i need to control the fans, i need to open side panel, and adjust from inside.but now, i just screw my silverstone's fan controller on the front panel....personally, i think it looks just nice for my pc-007 |

QUOTE([KY] @ May 30 2007, 12:24 AM) Argh now you make me worried too. The side panel is just panel with mesh hole. But I order a windowed side panel from DOOM...hopefully it fits my casing well...Ohya btw LL PC-7S users i need an answer. Is your side panel normal(without window or any holes) or does it has a hole for Lian Li side panel fan? Now i feel regret abit getting PC-7. Now i see PC-7S more beautiful. Maybe should had gotten PC-7S. |

QUOTE(fo33il @ Jun 19 2007, 07:00 PM) blessedvillain......u are something...how do u know i'm using the CM fan? yo fo33il,been stalking over me haaaa?! where do u put the cctv?!! bout the thumb screw...does anyone know whether ATE sell them? hahaha...all lian li fans have the tendency to buy quality products even for casing fans and CM fans seem to be widely available, yet they are not too bad in terms of quality also. I dun expect you to buy any other brand which is lesser known and lower quality than CM to pair with superior Lian li case....analytical my fren... dude...stalking? hahaha...i dun stalk guys... |

I know uglyvamp is selling the filters, but those filters are very plastic looking filters... I think any filters are able to filter out dust from going in to the casing but the problem is, these filters are screwed to the case, not those that are easily removable for cleaning....correct me if i'm wrong...
I'm currently on the lookout for those filters that comes with a holder that makes filter removing easier. to visualize, the holder is screwed to the case, but the filter is not.... i think it will be damn hard to find these, even international online shops also do not sells those, although i came across only a handful |
