for the g7, the fan is just behind the lian li word. it sucks air through the small holes on the left and right of the front bezel.

there's 1 12cm fan located in front of that "slide tracks for 3 hdd".
there's also another 12cm outlet at the rear of the casing. there's also 1 8cm outlet at the top panel. |

i've just bought uglyvamp's fan mesh filter. when it's installed onto my PC-G7, there's still some gap on the side of the filter cos the blowhole is kinda big.
i wonder whether it is useles for me to install that filter since there's a slight gap that may suck in dust. ( any LL user here using uglyvamp's filter? This post has been edited by Skylinestar: Jan 9 2007, 10:12 PM |

PC-G7 so cheap. coolermaster centurion no market already
i bought my PC-G7 4 months ago at RM300. if the sell PC-G7 at such a low price, why can't they sell V series at low price too? still got profit for PC-G7? This post has been edited by Skylinestar: Feb 7 2007, 06:58 PM |

the tiny slits id for air to flow through the front bezel. if u remove the front bezel, there will be a true 120mm intake hole (this is the place to fit the filter).
however, there is still small crevices for dust to suck in. the front 120mm hole is kinda big. i've fit uglyvamp's filter but there's still some spaces next to the filter. the side has holes for ventilation. it's meant for exhaust. i've tested it as intake for cooling my galaxy zalman 7300GT but there's no difference in temperature. however, dust will surely suck in. i wonder how to fit a big filter on the side panel. |

QUOTE(point blanc @ Mar 12 2007, 11:17 AM) guys, the front IO ports for PC-G7 is exposed. IMO, quite ugly. but it's easier for u to plug in thumbdrive.i just notice one thing... the USB front port is exposed... is there any model by LL that is covered? at least not so much of dust accumulation.. edited: i think i'll go for PC-007... the design is simple and most of my requirements are there... i guess there's no one casing that can cater to all our needs! hehehe now the big Q.. how much is PC-007... black.. regards, point blanc if i'm not wrong, PC-007 is about RM298 |
