It's only worth it to fill in the gaps where you enter area with no access to WiFi, as a backup internet connection. It's expensive if you plan to use it without WiFi.

RM30 for sim and free 1gb + RM45 for 2gb data boost will net you 3gb of internet on a one year validity. No need to top up every month unless quota exhausted.

I think you can top up the quota anytime you want & can top up as many time as you want.
The quota will accumulate but the validity will not extend.

Thanks for the info.
But it's weird that when I call to hotlink and ask about the top up, they said can top up any time.

You're welcome. But you better call hotlink to double confirm again since the answer i get from Hotlink helpline is differ from the T&C that mention by MyHeart.

Upon activation, the Hotlink Tablet Plant provides the Subscriber FREE 1 GB Internet quota with a 1 year validity period. Following the 1 year validity period, Subscribers must perform a top-up & purchase a new Tablet Internet Pass within 50 days. In the event a Subscriber fails to top-up and purchase a new Tablet Internet Pass on the 50th day, the Hotlink Tablet Plan immediately expires and the Subscriber’s line will automatically expire and be terminated.

How about after top up RM45 before 50 days then another 50 days need to top up again another RM45 even the quota still not yet utilize? rclxub.gif blink.gif

yes you are right
i call them to confirm just now

but your unused quota can not carry forward to next year
and i wonder how much do we need to top up & then be able to buy the pass in the following year
but after 1 year.....maybe we have better option in the market

Dear all. I have a xiaomi redmi 1S (dual-sim phone). Currently , Im thinking to get a hotlink tablet plan sim card for my phone (for online, whatsapp and email purpose) to fit into my second slot. A guy from maxis centre said that this plan can only use in tablet, smartphone cannot work due to different AAP? APN? (Forgot Name). Can anyone clarify this?

My first sim card do not have internet data, and i need to keep that number for business usage. Please advice
