QUOTE(captain_asia @ Mar 7 2016, 02:50 AM) Currently converse is on my top considerations? Do you think high top chuck taylors make ppl's legs look shorter? Coz my legs are consideref relatively short so i m afraid it might make me look even shorter? If you're going to wear your pants on the outside then no issue. If you're going to show off the high top, then not advisable.Best go for low profile/low top shoes to elongate your legs. |

QUOTE(absorb-d @ Mar 8 2016, 10:25 AM) here we go again Great, another UB collab we're going to have pay ridiculous resell to get.As part of the 2016 adidas Consortium tour, Solebox brings back the logo-less silhouette inspired by the shop district’s coat of arms, which translates into this beautiful tan/red colorway of the Ultra Boost Uncaged. The heel-cup is also re-designed and features a debossed Solebox logo, while the shop’s signature S logo can be seen on the tongue pull-tabs. Expect these to release this Saturday, March 12th, at Solebox, with a global release arriving after. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « A lot of people disagree but I like the cageless look. The Hypebeast was my favourite UB collab and this one is a close second. Too bad I'll be able to buy neither. |

They had a restock in women's sizes. Used to hate having small feet but now I'm having the last laugh. Expect a brief review once I receive them. Can't wait. |

QUOTE(absorb-d @ Mar 12 2016, 11:14 PM) No big issue really cause I work here.Adidas Malaysia and Indonesia both do random restocks online so you don't lose anything to just check in from time to time. For example, just a few weeks ago they randomly dropped the Grey UB's on Adidas Malaysia. But they were in men's sizes so disappeared pretty quickly. |

QUOTE(./Hack-Fusion @ Mar 15 2016, 10:01 AM) good morning, wanna ask how comfort is the adidas ultraboost compare nmd series? since nmd so hard to get, wandering is the ultraboost same as nmd. O.o ~ Can't comment on Nike's as I've no experience with them. any one wear nike prestos? how the comfort? thx Had a chance to extensively try both. For pure leisure, PB would be the best. If you're going to mix some sports activities, UB would be better. |

Adidas are really after people's money this time of the year:
So many NMD's coming out ... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Not to mention Tubular Dooms ... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And don't forget about some dumb shoe called the Ultra Boosts ... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I'd be lucky get a normal NMD-R1 runner at retail judging by the hype surrounding these sneakers. |

QUOTE(ChiaW3n @ Mar 17 2016, 01:17 PM) The hype is crazy. The normal NMD's listed on Adidas' website in the morning and within a few minutes 95% were gone. There goes my hopes of getting one below retail.Anyways, something for the Malaysian sneaker community: https://launches.endclothing.com/ Supposedly a fairer system of purchasing hype sneakers initiated by End. Don't know how fool proof the system is but no harm trying. |

This just came in. Big thanks to Adidas who shipped it in good time and via DHL as well.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Have been walking around my office room in these for half a day and here are a few observations: - The Boost really is something else and feels weird at first because it's unlike any other cushioning sensation I've experienced before. - I'm actually more impressed with the Primeknit material. My toes are a bit weird but the material stretches just right so that my feet feels secure yet still comfortable. - The cage does feel tight at first but eventually stretches. I can see the benefits of the cage if I suddenly have to run/move quickly (due to dragon, angry wife, ISA, etc) as it'll "lock" the shoe to your foot and thus feels more secure. The Pure Boosts are definitely less restrictive if you're firmly in #TeamCasual. - As advised by some brothers here, I can vouch that you can safely go 0.5 to 1 size bigger than your normal Adidas sizing on Primeknit Ultra Boosts. TL; DR : Will buy again. Only issue is if I still have the willpower to remain in #TeamBelowRetail for my next pair |

QUOTE(kurniawanK @ Mar 17 2016, 09:29 PM) planning to cop an UB as well. The soles on UB's are basically a piece of black rubber around 3mm in thickness that is stuck on top of the boost unit. As you can expect, durability will definitely be an issue if you plan to run in it constantly. Don't think this will be an issue for me as I only plan to use these on casual walks mixed with some light running (chasing my daughter, etc.).Having said that, the newer UB's with the Continental soles are supposed to be tougher and last longer (but the colours suck in my opinion). If you're looking for durability, better go for the PB ZG Prime or something with thicker soles. |

QUOTE(titan @ Mar 18 2016, 10:39 AM) yes, still need a salesperson to get it for u. Man you just won at life. Although the NMD's are nice, the Olive UB's are even better. yup. wont be q-ing in the future. but, that might change if i have some free time and dropping something i really like. copped this CW. [attachmentid=6190148] but today am swapping to get the Olives UB. weird bcoz you guys were just talking about it. They're pretty much sought after by UB heads everywhere since there has not been a restock for that colour in a while. |

QUOTE(titan @ Mar 19 2016, 01:38 AM) hey, thanks man. Am digging your OG too. About the same here but not as hyped as in Malaysia. Maybe because sneakers are more expensive here due to their higher import duty/ tax. For example, heard that NMD's are sold out everywhere in Malaysia but over here, there are still shops that still have the odd sizes. And same here bro. Wanting to cop the burgundys then i would chill from the scene for a bit. Else, wife will kill me too. Btw, hows the community in indo? A lot of sneaker hunters and resellers? New Balance are quite popular here maybe because they're relatively cheaper compared against the swoosh and three stripes. I'm now hunting for a UB in a shade of blue. I should be OK for a few months after that (I think). |
