QUOTE(itekderp @ Oct 6 2015, 01:04 AM) I seriously feel Ultraboost is more towards casual than "best running shoe". Nowhere is it near that from what I read, most people who are serious runners prefer other Adidas models. Apparently UB too "squishy" and "springy", non responsive like running using springs. Unless you're talking about most comfortable, then it probably wins. Most runners want shoes that absorb the impact of the feet hitting the pavement while remaining solid, like you said, comfort isn't exactly the top of the list when you are doing 20-40km runs. I've enjoyed my runs on FiveFingers far more than any other running shoes I've owned. |

QUOTE(whatsayyou @ Oct 7 2015, 05:07 PM) Why would Nike forums discuss about Adidas? Irregardless of what people say, I believe one can use their shoes for any purposes / regardless of the category (lifestyle / performance). It all boils down to one word.. style. If my performance shoe is stylish.. heck I would use it as a sneaker. |

QUOTE(itekderp @ Oct 5 2015, 09:21 PM) Vans old skool, Vans era/authentic, Converse classics, Not the most comfortable but good enough and lasts a long time. Roshes haven't been the trend since 2012 dude. And thank god for that too.Nike Janoskis for something a bit left field, Roshes to keep with the trend. Just some recommendations, safe choices. |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Oct 8 2015, 10:04 AM) I don't know about you, but I find the Rosche range awful Well, shoes like Roshe are purely meant for casual use. There's nothing to like or dislike about it really, it's just a simple, attractive silhouette which happens to be priced on the low end (until the past year that is). Not to mention very comfortable. Sandal shoe, if you may. The new Crocs ;pIt tried running in a GEL-LYTE 3 before and it was awesome! Shoes like GL3 comes from a running heritage. I'm not too sure, haven't really tried running in my "running" sneakers but I would think they'd do alright assuming the original DNA, materials etc. remains unchanged. |

Sandal shoe, if you may. The new Crocs ;p Correct. Asics GEL series has been a long heritage (25 years to be exact). In fact, models like Kayano, GL5, EVO, Respector etc are pretty comfortable. Shoes like GL3 comes from a running heritage. I'm not too sure, haven't really tried running in my "running" sneakers but I would think they'd do alright assuming the original DNA, materials etc. remains unchanged. It's a pity that it is still very niche in our market. |

Go outlet, test sizing. Go home, confirm on forum. Then online shopping, look for colorways you like. Most of the time, I think buying from online cheaper than what you can get here. And way better service. |

Lelong got many roshes selling at rm229 but i still doubt their authenticity Rule no.1, don't buy local unless you're good at telling fakes apart. There's a lot of unethical sellers peddling fakes as "original", " authentic", "factory approved" or whatever crap.on a side note whats the difference betwwen nike running socks(the short type) with other socks? Nike selling for rm29-49 but in daiso only rm5.30 Buy from reputable online stores, you can find a list over at niketalk. I buy from hanon myself. As for socks, it's a matter of preference. I have a pair of rm50 Nike socks, and a cheap pair I sometimes use for running. Not a professional, so can't really tell the difference. So long as they don't log sweat |
