Bought a a7000 earlier, wonder if the camera quality on the k3 is significantly better? How's battery life for a dual sim normal usage?

Guys I think this Lenovo K3 Note is not coming to Malaysia already because a search in Sirim database shows that Lenovo Malaysia has register the P90 but there is no result found for K3 Note.
Since both phones release almost around the same time, it will only be logic if Lenovo Malaysia registers both phones together with Sirim around the same time.
So I guess we all stuck with AP set.

Question though since it's my first AP purchase.. the seal is broken. This is normal for AP set?

This is weird.. I powered up my phone for the first time and it went straight to 'home' screen without going through the usual 'choose your language next, next next' settings.

After using it for some time, I shut down the phone, plugged in my charger (I wasn't up to anything, the sequence just happened), then rebooted it again. Once rebooted, it brings me to the 'next, next, next' settings screen. At the T&C page, I wasn't able to go next after checking the 'i agree' box and tapping 'next' doesn't do anything.

Any ideas what happened? Have not flashed or anything. There's no sim card inserted at the moment, other phone's still active.

Same question here bro ... There are nice instructions in the first page but vague in some area for newbies like us...

What  am I looking for ?

- Something stable ( i dont want to flash roms every month or so and restore apps, messages ,etc )
   ( marked ST ? )
- English dialogue
- All Phone functionality must work - bluetooth /  wifi / camera  etc must work
- OTA must have
- Gapps must have
- Root too
So if we use a ST type rom, install gapps , remove bloatware, and then unroot it , can we get OTA ?
I prefer OTA instead of flashing entire ROM every time....

Bro, can you comment on the 1526 Dev ROM, any drawbacks seen as such in 1524 eg. whatsapp no LED notification? This is official ROM right? Cause I noticed SiteScope only included 1524 as latest..

Bro, Some questions ...

A. ST would be considered an official rom right ?
    Any reason u did not want to try the rom of version:
    VIBEUI_V2.8_1526_7.80.1_DEV_K50-T5 ( Developer version ) – Android 5.1  ?
B. Contact no +6  issue still exists ? or solved ?
C. English available ?
D. After unrooting a rooted phone , can we get back the OTA?

I think can... even if u don't have SD card, u also can use OTG with fat32 pendrive...

my previous cwm 2.8.6.0 can...

Mount OTG 1st, then install from OTG usb...
Now I'm using twrp so kenot simulate...

**do this at your own risk, use your judgement as to what's a system essential software and what is not. if you are not sure it's always better to use a service disabler app rather than removing it entirely.

coming from a lenovo p780 user, i found the external speaker of the k3 note to be on the soft side. need to turn on the speaker to almost max to hear movie conversation.

the default snap it camera application doesnt offer any option to choose resolution. also found hp to get hotter than the p780.

how to get the whatsapp led to show LED notification? on my p780, i can choose silent for group notifications, but i don't find it on the k3. If I were to turn profile to vibrate , all the group notification will still vibrate even though i have set vibrate to OFF inside whatsapp

for the lock screen, previously there's an option in which you can disable power button instantly locks, but now no longer on the k3

Bro,  india will be releasing the phone tomorrow via flipkart.
That will have the "true blue" stock international lenovo ROM with OTA

So no more half baked  roms, annoying inconsistencies.... hopefully.

Just wait a 1wk - 2wks and someone will sure post on the web.
