Even with my seatbelts on and my hands on the steering, I lost grip and the seatbelts only helped until I hit the divider.

It's better all types of car include, trucks, buses, includes all types of bikes should be not exceed 100km/h. If want buy sport cars aka supercars? can, suggest retail price RM2 M min and road tax min RM50K annual. 

Suggest ban driving totally. Go anywhere ride bicycle like in Vietnam....racing bicycle also ban. No pollution, no problem parking, cannot speed, no need install traffic lights, no need build highways, accident also won't die and good for exercise. Everybody live until 100 years old.

The female myvi driver released on bail after she gave her statement. Police said the investigation will be completed by next week. Hopefully police will have enough evidence to charge them in court

I doubt anything heavy will be done. Which comes to think of it, since some extremist wants Hudud, why not impose a much more heavier punishment on our now existing law on such cases? 3 years in jail is nothing. RM10K is nothing to these people since they can afford to mod their car to Buggati standard.

regarding the seatbelt issue, lemme say something from personal experience of my close fren. my fren and his worker (worker is the driver) inside his kembara, high centre of gravity car, lost control at 50+km/h and hit a FEW trees (palm trees, small ones), and barrel rolled, even with seatbelts, the driver end up laying on my fren the passenger, totally shifted seat. so it's possible.

another of my fren who passed away in a car accident, was hit at the driver side by a car that beat the red light, my fren didn't fly out of the car but his car was flying in the air eventhough he just start moving from traffic light, so healso shifted over to the passenger side, even with seatbelts, and die on the spot.

so we don't know the real impact speed of the myvi but the pajero seemed to bend A LOT from being hit at the driver side. even with seatbelts, the driver and passenger could still fly out of the car even with seatbelts
