QUOTE(David83 @ May 5 2015, 09:32 PM) Investors flee US stocks at financial-crisis levels US market overvalue now? Many investors appeared to ditch American stock funds in April, in the biggest exodus since the financial crisis. But far from taking that as a bad sign, some investors view the news as an indication that stocks have more room to run. In April, U.S. equity mutual funds and ETFs saw outflows of $35.8 billion, according to TrimTabs. That's the biggest move away from American stocks since October 2008. And the bearish tone is confirmed by the flows in the leveraged ETF space, where leveraged short ETFs saw an increase in assets of 4.6 percent, while leveraged long ETFs saw assets dip by 2.5 percent. India hits snag in effort to impose tax on foreign investors
QUOTE Indian tax authorities suffered a setback on Tuesday in their efforts to impose a so-called minimum alternative tax (MAT) on foreign investors, as UK-based Aberdeen Asset Management won temporary relief from a tax bill it was facing. US and European investor groups last month called for the Indian government to clarify its tax regime for foreigners following surprise attempts by tax inspectors to impose MAT, which some tax experts say could leave international funds and banks with bills of as much as US$8bil (RM28.87bil). Aberdeen had filed its challenge with the High Court of Bombay in response to a claim for a MAT payment of about 2 million rupees (RM113,784) for one of its funds, said a lawyer involved in the case. http://www.thestar.com.my/Business/Busines...tors/?style=biz |

QUOTE(David83 @ May 6 2015, 07:39 AM) It's Time to Get Ready for the End of China's Bull Market maybe can last another few months before the market drops The bull market turned 883 days old on Tuesday, topping China’s previous record by 56 days, after a 119 percent surge in the Shanghai Composite Index since December 2012. Even if the advance is measured from June 2013 -- when the gauge narrowly avoided a bear-market drop of 20 percent -- it’s still the second longest since Chinese bourses opened for trading in 1990. ![]() URL: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/201...ans-saying-sell |

Japan? market value is cheaper than fair value latest 1 May 2015 Market Valuation report...Fair Value is 19....Japan PE is now 16.9 http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/resea...?articleNo=5804 Please note this disclaimer: We would also like to highlight that the fair PE is considered a subjective number as it is generated internally by the research team, taking into conditions macro and micro economic developments expected to take place. As such, investors who view Japan differently from the research team would award a different fair PE. |

The FBM KLCI declined 0.4% on profit taking as a selloff in global sovereign bonds dampened regional share markets.
QUOTE , Reuters reported that a selloff in global sovereign bonds pushed Asian stocks to two-week lows on Wednesday as investors worried it might trigger profit taking in other asset classes, while the US dollar stayed on the backfoot dogged by trade deficit concerns http://www.theedgemarkets.com/my/article/k...nt?type=Markets |
