hi, guys..Need some opinion on MiBox Mini. I am thinking to get one but it does not comes with google play. Is it a must to root it in order to get google play working?

it looks like cctv5 or cctv5+ both also 中央电视台..a lot of android app can stream live... 电视家， 小薇直播，HDP直播 also can stream CCTV channels coz all are china apps, for football matches commentary are in mandarin.

hey all, i have the mi box gen 5 unit. Are you able to use / install apps into the USB pendrive? My Mi Settings doesnt have the "Storage" options

Any TVB drama fans here? I find watching their dramas quite frustrating, it's always not buffering or not stable. Sometimes you're able to watch it today, the next day it's not.

I think you have to enable install from unknown source first, its in the settings too.
