That's Astro for you.

I urge you guys to ban this sohai company altogether. Unsubscribe to their cable plan. Let them feel the impact

Damn attitude still stagnant like from 20 years ago. Nowadays only cronism and monopoly helps them gaining profit.

Hi guys.. I have been using mibox 3s for the past 2 years, never had any issues.
For the past few days the Internet giving me problems.. It says connected but no Internet, and I tried to factory reset, it started to work again.. However the next day its acting up again.. I dont wanna reset it everyday for it to work..
And my Internet is working fine for my phone and laptop..
Please help..

Are you using wifi or ethernet cable?

Maybe it was 8.2.4 or something older than 8.2.6.

If you reinstall 8.2.6 again, it will prompt you to update again ?

may I know where you all get ur mi box ??

I checked the local mi Malaysia selling 300+

but lazada mi box is only 200+ (global)

Any problem if I get if from lazada mi box (global) ???

No local warranty. That's the only difference. If anything goes bad, you need to refer back to the seller. So try to find a reputable one.

Most likely your wifi signal strength. Im having prob with wifi too. But if i put mibox beside the router, wifi is steady hehe. I plan to change router for a better one.

actually, that should be correct.
sideloaded v8.2.6 does not get updated since it is not from playstore.
only devices that installed direct from playstore will experience that (i have seen).
my ATV tv also doesn't get updated with sideloaded 8.2.6.
eventually v8.2.6 will be killed off like previous 8.2.1, 8.2.4, etc.
when that happens, no choice, will have to find some working or modified new version.

can we check with u again... u were using old v8.2.6 on mibox ATV, u got forced updated to new app?

WiFi has always been an issue for mibox. You need to establish a static connection in your wifi settings. That way it works well all the time. Don’t use DHCP.

Actually my router b618 is just beside the mibox..
And I tried static as well, it just wouldn't connect unless I factory reset it..

Each time I turn on my box, and choose to open YouTube Kids APP, it always showed green color screen after I select the video.
I have to restart my box only will solve.

It is very annoying. I tried to reset the box also the same. But no issue on normal YouTube Apps.

Both are downloaded from PlayStore.
