Hi guys, can the local Mi Box can watch mandarin movies/drama? Or, must use the china jail break version? Any idea about their price difference? Easy get blocked??

Anyone using Netflix on mibox?

Yes. Mibox international edition running android TV os.

In case anyone is wondering, this is the "error" page it goes into after key in username and password.

1. Does it has anything to do with App Permission?
2. Does it has anything to do ISP provider?
- I'm one TIME.
3. Does it has anything to do with the DNS?
- I'm using TIME auto DNS, 203.121.65.39 & 8.8.8.8.

What is that? My mibox has no xiaomi apps.

MiTV is not certified under Netflix because if not wrong it is China edition and China don't have Netflix. You will only get 480p resolution in not certified device.

Also those China edition Mi Box is facing same issue as well. Only international edition include Malaysia edition Mi Box can stream Netflix up to 4K resolution.

Was thinking to buy a second mibox for use in MIL house during weekends since astro go now support more channels.

I'm quite surprised to see it work flawlessly. At first, download a force rotate app which causes it to crash immediately. Then saw you guys mention orientation and search for it and viola, it work straightaway. Without orientation, it still work but the menu is in portrait mode and hurting my neck and brain. Movie still play in landscape. After installing orientation app, everything is in landscape mode. Weekends will feel less boring now. Will fully try it tomorrow and see wanna use moc code to buy 2nd unit. Oh... I was on 1304 firmware.

Anyone install Astro Go on Xiaomi Tv Box Global Version successfully???

Just installed yesterday. No problem.

AsI know the MiTV is not international edition, if it is China edition then nope.
