Very sorry to said for this I can't help much as previously I am getting the Mi Box from official lazada site but now no longer sell.

The Malaysia edition I bought last time do can do following
- Netflix HDR (yes after update to Android 8)
- Astro GO (yes include latest version, much easier to setup in Android 8 as no longer FC)
- Unifi (yes include latest version)
- Amazon Prime Video (yes for side load but only up to 4K, no HDR)

Yup now it is very risky to buy, can only based on trust to whatever the seller said.

Maybe others member that had buy before can share which seller is trustable.

Don't install apps in external storage will solve your issue.

I never face freeze last time when I use external storage but it is slow when startup. So I remove it. Yup 8 GB is way too small.
For greater performance if for Android TV, only Nvidia Shield.

Now I only use Mi Box when travelling back home town. Normal day I use Apple TV 4K and it is my main TV Box now.

You need side load install it as it is not Android TV apps but Android apps.

At 4k@60hz HDR on, always out of sync audio + random reboot (overheat?) and also laggy inside out. 1080P and below work fine without reboot or audio problem.

I choose Apple TV 4K because of
- iTunes Movies
- Auto switch frame rate
- REMUX playback

The only drawback of Apple TV 4K to me is the YouTube only up to 1080p and no support of 4K or 4K HDR due to YouTube is using VP9 codec for 4K and 4K HDR where Apple TV 4K not support on it.

Haha! I don't get Nvidia shield. Why? Simple as it don't support iTunes movies. Movies Anywhere only support certain purchase at iTunes US and up to 1080p only. It will downgrade 4K film to 1080p.

2nd thing auto framerate switch is 100% work in Apple TV 4K. Another reason is Infuse Pro + Plex Client is so much easier to manage than Kodi. I need this to playback all my collection films up to 4K HDR Remux quality.

Those IPTV I didn't watch even it is setup at my Mi Box, means it is not important to me.

Above is the reason I decide Apple TV 4K over Nvidia Shield. I am happy with my choice because it serve what I need. smile.gif

All apps you mentioned is very common and support in mi box 3 international edition not the mi box 4.

Only Astro on the go need side load and make sure the version you get is original version without root.

Mi box storage is freaking small, Kodi will killing your storage space.

No solution. This box need time to settle down because the box hardware a bit under power. Wait few minutes and it will stable and smooth.

Feel like selling off my Mi Box Malaysia edition, I already 2 months not using it anymore.

Now even go home I also bring home my Apple TV 4K.

This Mi Box is collecting dusk now... Haha!

I use Apple TV to watch following
  • Netflix
  • iTunes Movies (support any country account and can switch easily, I switch in between USA, UK and Malaysia iTunes account)
  • YouTube (but limit to 1080p only)
  • Amazon Prime Video
  • Infuse Pro - for watching all my own collection movies, it can playback 4K HDR Remux (actual quality of 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray) content without any issue.
Astro Go is not support.

The reason I prefer Apple TV than Mi Box because the playback is much nicer, Amazon Prime support HDR, and support up to 4K HDR Remux playback. The entire UI is nicer and smooth, no auto framrate and color space switching issue.

I don't watch Astro Go because nothing much for me to watch there, I also don't watch those iptv channel because all is not very clear and often buffering or channel missing very quick. So I rather not watching it. Beside this above all contents I already no time to watch already.

Both is not standard Android TV OS apps.
