Its was always about RM2xx before FOB to Malaysia...everyone marked up like crazy.. i bought mine at RMB360 (approx.RM220) from Shenzhen.

I think they always sell new items at higher prices then drop them after a while. Before the Lemo2 got released here, I bought mine from FT for around RM120. Almost 1 week later, VE was selling it at 160 or 180. By the time my Lemo2 arrived about 2 weeks after VE started selling, they were selling it for RM130 already

There are a lot of factors in play here. Take this group buy for example, since we are not placing a huge order (for example below 10 units and above 50-100 units - price will differ significantly) and including shipping charges and what not, that is one of the best price that can be provided with these few units. On the other hand if you look at an online retailer or B&M who stocks up on products and sell them, they will definitely: (1) order in bulk which will then (2) be offered lower price per unit and lastly (3) save on shipping and other charges. In terms of higher and perhaps assumed-ridiculous mark-up on the items, there is a MRSP (manufacturer recommended sales pricing) which means that they are not allowed to sell below the recommended pricing. With that being said, you would also have people who will mark it up ridiculously to the less-informed buyers.

That's the problem with vaping products, there will always be an alternative either newer or improved. Lookout for this product by CLDMKR (Cloud Maker)'s Whiteout. It is supposedly a box mod that can be customized and DIY'ed and also supposedly puts an end to the need to purchase newer mods.

yeah saw the thread too, but with the current chip selection, its way cheaper to get a ipv4 - heck throw in a sigelei 150w for good measure

that is why seller take this opportunity to cover up the tax they paid *if they pay la (mostly distributor already charged it)
transportation to Port Klang (Northport/Westport) if from Klang Valley also already cost some amount

not all seller rajin to do that, hence i think most will just buy with distributor at hefty price then add their own margin

Yup totally agreeable and that is indeed a great deal! I reckon that'll be FOB price but again, that is still a very low price.
