QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Aug 30 2020, 12:34 PM) Need help. Is it possible to use sensor linked to Sonoff RF Bridge to use as trigger without flashing the bridge to Tasmota and using MQTT? I can see the sensor triggered in the RF Bridge as the command # change from 0,1,2,3 depend on the sensor that got trigger. Can this be use as trigger? Is yes, how to set it up? Appreciate your help. |

Lenovo Smart Clock Essential is a cheaper smart clock with Google Assistant
QUOTE Lenovo announced a couple of products today and one of them is the Smart Clock Essential. The new product is a smaller and more affordable version of the Lenovo Smart Clock that was announced last year. To make it more affordable, Lenovo has swapped the color display of the larger model for a LED-like panel that displays real-time information including the date, time, temperature, and weather. Since this is not a color display, you do not need to worry about bezels. The rest of the design doesn’t deviate from that of the Lenovo Smart Clock. The speaker is wrapped in fabric with 3D buttons at the top. You can use the buttons to control playback and also to set the time. The back is where the power jack is in addition to the mute button and a USB-A output port for charging your devices. The white plastic around the ports is actually a night light that allows you to see in the dark so you don’t have to turn on the lights in the room. With Google Assistant built-in, you can use the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential as you would any smart speaker. From setting alarms to asking questions to creating shopping lists and controlling other smart home devices, the far-field microphones on the speaker will take your commands. You can also listen to your favorite podcast thanks to its 3W speaker. Lenovo says you can also group it with your other compatible smart speakers. The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential will sell for €59.99 in Europe when it goes on sale later this month. In the US, it will sell for $49. It will also be sold in China, Latin America, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/31/lenov...ogle-assistant/ » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

I don't use stock RF bridge so I am not sure. But if the sensor can trigger something in the stock RF bridge, then it can be use as a trigger. What does the stock RF Bridge register in HA as ? As a sensor entity? Then from there, you can see what state it register when the sensor trigger/change. Or follow the github page of the Sonoff integration that you installed. currently i having 1 aqara 2 gang neutral switch near my bedframe controlling 2 T5 LED. I would like to add another T5 LED but i dont wish to spend another Rm100++ to change to 3 gang switch. i wish to control each T5 individually so combining into 1 gang is out. this is the current idea i can think of... any comment from sifus... thanks!! |

We used to an automation which trigger by siri "goodnight" will turn off the light, turn off curtain, i will just add in to switch on this relay.. and probably setup another new automation to turn off @ 7am daily.. hopefully she dont ask for a physical switch |
