QUOTE(luvox @ Feb 8 2017, 09:53 PM) Thanks for the suggestion, scheduled charging device for galaxy tab Yes exactly that, which can mess with your scene like if you want to turn on all lights/fan in the living room at the same time and you've already got the lights on. I read the same issue that u mention, tc2 no seperate on off switch to control fan. But i dont understand whats the problem with fan control. Can explain in detail? Do u mean tc2 switch use same single command for on&off, broadlink wont know tc2 switch on off status? This is wat i guess wat u mean Obviously the same command will turn off the lights off instead, which is I'm leaning towards wifi switches now. |

my Teptron's Move motorized blind review -
I ordered these from a company called Teptron in Sweden. This is initially a kickstarter project. You can now buy them at their own website. Delivery can take as long as 6 to 10 weeks. They seem to be manufacturing them by hand. What it does is add a motor to your existing blinds. Basically any kind of blinds that is control by some sort of cord can work. If your curtains is control by a cord pulley, you can add this motor to it as well..Each unit cost 59 Euros. I only have roller blinds for my apartment so this thing will work on all of them but I only ordered 3 for my living room. Just for testing and also I dont really open and close my other roller blinds for my rooms that much, it is always closed. In my living room, I have three roller blinds side by side for "one" window so I need 3 Moves ![]() ![]() The whole package is pretty small. Each unit consist of a solar panel, the Move unit itself, some hardware for different types of blinds and thats pretty much it. The red thing is the double sided tape for you to attach the unit to wherever you gonna mount it. It also comes with screws incase double sided tape dont work for you ![]() ![]() It uses 4 AAA size rechargeable batteries (not included so I went bought some from IKEA). The battery door completely comes out and is held in place by just two small tabs that seems easily breakable. So far the batteries seems to keep its charge pretty well. The solar panel must be charging it and I must say that it is working well even when I dont get any direct sunlight. You can also recharge the battery using a power bank. Or you could connect a USB charger to it. ![]() You can see the spindle from the motor here. You are supposed to attached on the different wheel spool for different types of blinds here Installation is fairly simple. You stick the double sided tape to the unit and then to the wall or window frame. At first I thought the tape wont hold but its in pretty solid. My roller blind uses a beaded cord and somehow the wheel spool for the beaded cord dont work very well. The cord seems to be slipping from the wheel. I fixed this by making sure the wheel and beaded cord is tight with good tension. Teptron knows about this problem and they will send me an improved metal version of the wheel soon. ![]() There are three manual buttons on the Move unit. Up, Down and Stop. The Move unit is control by Bluetooth using an app. The app at the moment has absolutely no other functions but Up or Down. Btw they also have a Z-Wave version. PRO- Fairly cheap and affordable. Easy to install. CONS - 1. If you got a few panels of blinds side by side, there is no single button to control all of them at once on the app 2. If you got a few panels of blinds side by side, trying to align them to go up and down in unison is very difficult. You need to play around with the speed setting. 3. App is pretty much barebones for now with no automation. No grouping of units to be control all at once. 4. Bluetooth takes time to connect This post has been edited by idoblu: Feb 10 2017, 02:36 PM |

If 2in1 control is perfect. For your bead type you need the special design type of pulley. I don't no how to descript the type. But I saw it before. |

QUOTE(idoblu @ Feb 7 2017, 12:21 PM) Next is pairing it with the EWeLink App. Press the Pairing button on the Sonoff. Boss, ask you. You select the Sonoff to pair with ![]() Go to your smartphone's WIFI setting and select the ITEADS......device ![]() Then it will start pairing - ![]() Btw ozak, I connected it to my Wifi Guest Network which has limited excess (can only go to Internet) and it works. You can control the Sonoff device in three ways - Countdown Timer, Timer Schedule, and Scene Countdown timer - you set how many days, hours or minutes and it will countdown to either On or Off your device ![]() Timer Schedule - this one you set it to go On or Off and certain dates, days and time - yes you can skip certain days ![]() Scene - you can set either a Smart Scene or Non-Smart Scene. Smart Scene is like you got a temperature sensor and you can set the sensor to send a signal to the Sonoff. Non-Smart Scene - you can group some or all the Sonoff to trigger Overall I am happy with it, anyway its darn cheap at only $5 each, what more can you expect? Let say I off the main and totally no supply to sonoff, how is the timer and schedule behave? After power in back. Will it run off or remain the same. |
