they have several good plugins to assist in setup. works flawless with harmony hub, at least i can now activate a scene rather than individual devices on Siri

the interface is also great for troubleshooting for techies too with built in terminal and log reports

anyone using koogeek led light strips? am encountering them always loosing connection to homekit, it lasts a few days or so.

you could also try this. pretty neat way of handling entities in HA.

in my scenario, only when you go in to toilet light turn on with motion sensor, door open or close not important

entity_controller:

motion_toilet: # serves as a name

sensor_type: duration # sensor type (can ignore this if your sensor is instant)

sometimes you go in wash hands only no need wait so long to turn of light. however if u do number 2 or shower and dont close door the light might turn off

then setup automation to turn off the toliet light when door is open after waiting for say 10 seconds.

works great for me.

still got some kinks like sometimes forget to turn on heater and open door to turn heater on then light will off until detect motion again in my automation scenario. still trying to figure that scenario out. but it was a long road without entity controller. this plugin really makes our automation rule creation so much easier. Check out his video for better understanding is pretty powerful.

wow one pi do so many task. can handle ah? home assistant should have a dedicated pi, homebridge on another pi and unifi controller and plex on nas.

Might not be the easiest and straight forward way but works for me. Get them install on Home Assistant. You can ditch their hub and use zigbee2mqtt with something like conbee2 or zzh! stick then either pay Nabu Casa or check out youtube on how to integrate Alexa with Home Assistant, not too difficult if you are technically incline.

Anyone using electrolama zzh dongle that is familar with c/Jtag firmware recovery.
