Jz now i bought some chicken leg for Hepy. He doesn't noe how to bite it ... kept licking only - lick & lick & lick

u gave him raw ones?
my bf wanted 2 buy raw chicken breast meat for them jus now but i stopped him. 2morrow will b travelling bac 2 my hometown, dowan them 2 mencemarkan my car..

ya .. raw. After some time of licking, he started to enjoy biting it. THen jz now around 5 am something .. he vomitted . I think it's because of the chicken leg. I will not give him raw anymore lor. Won't give him human food - to be precise. Jz stick to kibbles and brush his teeth.

hmm i no give raw to my furkids before.
i think Hepy prefer kibbles

but he loves the chicken leg too ler. I think his tummy is not used to raw yet. Datz y vomitted. Coz last nite when I wanted to go zzzz, i took away his chicken leg from him .. he knocked his head on my leg . I think he not song coz i took away his chicken leg by force

It will need some getting used to.... sometimes the vomiting can be tummy upset or food that is not fresh. Coz my Chelsea ate before raw meat from supermarket, vomited.... always buy the freshest meat and bones that you can get. Normally the fresh stuff is early when they open.

Jz now took Hepy for his 3rd jab and i bought two deworming tablets. The vet told me if i hardly bring Hepy go out and mix with other dogs, I dun need to deworm 3 months once. Twice a year is sufficient and I bought the heart worm tablet already - RM 50. She told me after Hepy completes the 6 heartworm tablet, he can go for heartworm vaccination p.a. instead of taking tablets every month. And I bought a pack of blackwood 7.5 kg for RM 80 - cheap!

ohh.. if never bring doggy out mix with other dogs then no need to deworm every 3mths la.. but tat muz be after his 3rd vac rite?

heartworm can be given to dogs tat had completed the 3 vaccinations rite. and giv every mth till it finished the 6 tablet then can go for the heartworm vaccination..

the heartworm vac is how long needed to jab 1 time ?

da vet told me ..

after 3rd jab .. deworm ur pup once in every 6 months (if u dun bring him out so often).

Heartworm .. must be given before he's 6 months old. Give him one tablet per month until 6 months. Then u can start the yearly heartworm vaccination.

if ur pup is more than 6 months old and hasn't start heartworm thingy yet, then need to do blood test liao. More troublesome and cost more.

That's up to my understanding la

the heartworm is called "proheart" .. blue colour one. I bought it at Baby Pets (equine park , seri kembangan) lor. I bought blackwood there too.
