YEO imho sounds hard. it's harder than Hurricane Hao and close to HKing.
it's a really light and thin blade. very sharp feel but quite controllable. rebound is excellent with a wood feel (5 ply). i use it with H2#19 on FH. that setup gives me superb control but speed is lacking. i need to work very hard to make sure the ball flies faster. |

uh i'd rather not get into that discussion bcos it's a long debate. i myself never touch provincial/national Hurricanes bcos a lot of controversies plus i dont agree with the idea. maybe u can tell us why u think it's real.
here's a discussion (some points here are just opinions and not actual fact from DHS ok) http://mytabletennis.net/Forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=20033&KW= i believe there's also some ways of identifying for provincial/national. but best is to just refer to DHS itself This post has been edited by lanatir: Nov 15 2008, 02:51 AM |

Lanatir - I've read few reviews, and I think I've list down few blades, but Im not really sure about the price. Perhaps graeztch knows it.
1. Xiom Athena Platinum - RM470 2. Darker Speed 90 10mm - ? 3. Kokutaku Cho Super Cho Tokusen 10mm - ? I recall your earlier post you mentioned about getting Darker Speed 90 right ? Wanna know the exact price too. |

I recall your earlier post you mentioned about getting Darker Speed 90 right ? Wow, the price is so damn high. It'd be better to settle off with KTS then. Nvm, until I have enough moolah, I shud concentrate on current equipment and utilize it. Thanks for the price ya.

Thanks for the price ya. where got so damn high darker is RM416 and KKT is RM595 9mm versions are RM387 and RM357 respectively (making the 9mm KKT the most value for money). actually the KTS (if got stock) is great value for the moment. i think either they are going to raise the price for KTS soon or discon it bcos it's not in butterfly's 2008/2009 catalogue (but the cypress max is). love this pic of master blade maker ![]() This post has been edited by lanatir: Nov 16 2008, 10:54 AM |

Actually between 9mm and 10mm, does it differ the most ? I was just thinking since I could (if) RM300++ blade, why dont I just save up another RM100 and go for the 10mm. But if it does not differ much, I guess its good to go for the 9mm Super Cho Tokusen.

But if it does not differ much, I guess its good to go for the 9mm Super Cho Tokusen. to tell u the truth, both of the blades look almost identical except that the grains on the 10mm looks a bit tighter (and packaging is SLIGHTLY different in label only). iruiru even sent me the super cho by mistake when i ordered the cho super cho and i had to send it back for them to resend me the correct order.super cho ![]() cho super cho ![]() eh the price difference is more than RM200 leh. quote from mytt http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts...D=258433#258433 "Normally the top two Kiso Hinoki grades are SS (chōtokusen) and SA (tokusen). Kokutaku Super-Cho fits between high SA and low SS by present standards due to the dwindling Kiso Hinoki supplies . Cho Super-Cho is SS. Also Cho Super-Cho is 10mm thick and Super-Cho is 9mm. However more than often you can get Super-Cho that are slightly thicker than 9mm." just a bit on why kiso hinoki is so prized... "The hinoki grown in Kiso, used for building Ise Shrine, are called 御神木 Go-Shin-boku "Tree where god stayed"." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinoki This post has been edited by lanatir: Nov 17 2008, 02:39 PM |

Now i am playing table tennis regularly in my office after working hours..thinking of getting a bat but don't what to choose..hope you guys can enlighten me here.. I prefer a balanced bat coz i tend to smash and control the ball. I played less spin.. My budget would be RM100 for starters This post has been edited by Notoriez: Nov 18 2008, 03:00 PM |
