i think in the team of the year, fonte should be there instead of cahill. that guy is rock solid throughout the campaign and deserve to be in the team of the year.

and why is bertrand is even inside there? i think azpilicueta had been sensational at left back. creswell might be another weaker option to slot in at that position.

not even sure again why coutinho is there when schneiderlin had been superb for soton.

others is pretty justified and i am pretty sure arsenal fans will put on so much rage why their full XI is not even there. they are the team that play most beautiful football rite?

i like the way SOME of the arsenal fans moaning about the 'perceived' negative style of play employed by our team. how do you even differentiate between positive and negative style of play in the first place? for me, 3 points is what mattered most. as long as the tactics resulted in a win, then it is good enough for me.

another point is that, world of football doesn't offer much incentive for the team to play offensively. win, by any possible means, will award you with 3 points. in the world of rugby, there is a bonus point system where if you score more than 3 or 4 tries, you got extra point. losing with less than 7 points difference will also net you 1 point. so, until the world of football employ this same point system, there is no use in debating the 'negative' style of play.

and referring to the game last night, why would you say we are playing negatively when we got more shots on target as compared to you? not much difference between number of shots and possession as well. so, what is the problem? you did control the game in the first half but chelsea also got a fair chance in it. and the second half, arsenal slows down and make some weird subs (giroud for welbeck).

and mourinho is right. the jeers for boring game that came from arsenal fans might hit them back for not winning the league since the last 10 years.

Buthurt everywhere.
1. True we aim for draw.
2. True we park a jumbojet.
3. In the end we are playing to win the league but not slipping the trophy away.
4. Who is having the last laugh now.
5. Winner take it all; loser standing small.

i personally didnt enjoy the game last night..but some of the butthurt so called 'fans' keep on labeling us playing boring..from the game stats, i see chelsea outperformed arsenal...if u hold the ball, control posession but cant convert it into chance, then they failed magnificently...

they kept saying we park the bus, play defending, not attacking, so what? football no need defense? its strategy

Buddy,

first and foremost, congrats on winning the title.

Yes, they are some butthurt fans who gets annoyed with last night game but let me present you this.

While i would swap such reactive football for trophies, I can't say i enjoyed last night game. Can you? I've went to matches in the UK and let me tell you, the ticket ain't cheap. At the end of the 90 minutes, i believe you would want to be entertain after paying such amount of money. So yeah, is perfectly fine if you went in with a game plan and got what you wanted. Kudos to mourinho for doing that, but i have no idea how can the majority of you guys claim that you guys enjoyed such football. Why not just watch highlights?
*
When will some of u realize that play beautiful is not the only thing interactive and entertaining?

For me football not only about game and sport.yes it need to entertaining and fun to watch but the definition of entertaining and fun are different.some people find it entertaining to watch passing ball all around, some find it entertaining tiki taka and some find it entertaining watching the 'better' team cant penetrate the other team (yes, claiming u are better but in the end u fail to penetrate.makes u fail actually)

negative football?last night,maybe.1st half we create chance and attack.more like open game until last 45 min where arsenal attack most.2nd half also the same.we not entirely defend all the time and we dont defense entirely this season either.have u watch our game 1st half season?lots of time we win big margin but we concede big number of goals too.there are pros and cons.

Btw to me,what entertaining is my team play like a team and play with the right strategy at the right time

^ ur nick name really unnecessary laa

Anyway, yes i agree i dont enjoyed the football of Chelsea in recent games. But our first half of the season, we were brilliant. Matic, Cesc and Costa bullying team week in week out. But like other good things, its meant to last forever. Costa hit with lengthy injury. Matic and Cesc obviously caught with fatigue. So, with a comfortable lead on top of the table and the season going to its end, as a mere fans I am fine with the way the manager set up the team to cope with the crisis. League is a marathon, do u sprint in marathon?
