Recently bought a new phone MX4 pro.. Then change the new simcard with "U" which support LTE.

I realise that the signal drop only happen when i am in the office. No server network, cannot call out/in. There is one time it happened, i walk out from office with the phone to open space, automatically it connect and have strong line.

I check with colleague using Digi has strong line in office.

I flash the ROM with latest version, still same. Report to Digi and restart for me still same. Change SIM card with group 40 still same.
Don't know is Digi problem or the hardware problem.


Any Digi user also encounter this scenario totally cannot call and no network with other phone especially got 4g ?

I guess because your colleague's phone support band 3 and 7 and your phone only had band 3

so many office in Malaysia....

Just check ur phone, shud be able support 2600mhz

But TPM is quite big, i still duno which building u r working at....

Just let you know, different phone has different signal strength...

And I have tested the so called TPM area...
full 3/4G signal around IRIS and incubator 3
full 3G at usahawan4 ...

but of coz, u have mentioned that there are colleagues using digi with no problem
for this issue, errr, did u set ur phone with 2/3/4G option?

U r digi technician or u really went there to test?

It is not like completely no line/network the moment i enter into the office
Is like after the phone idle for certain time/online music stream, then no connection.... call in also cannot, like exhausted. i would say sometimes 1 hour, sometimes 30 min, sometimes 3 hour... no certain one.
By the way, my colleague use iphone 5, whatsapp no problem. Mine like a deadphone. I even have the sms by 121 missed calls the moment my line connected.

Iphone 5 can't connect to Digi LTE at kV... maybe the issue on 4g... try use 3g 1st for few days n see the result Lo

Ya i know his iphone not connect to 4g.

If say no network or weak network, i dun bother much
But what frustrate me is signal also dun have cause cannot call out/in... That puzzle me.

I am always skeptical on the build quality of china made phones, some doesn't follow 3GPP specification and some brand have weaker antennas than other brands. I have seen some so called "branded" china phones which receive signal 50% weaker than iPhone and Samsung.

So long as other brand like iPhones or Samsung have no issue, I don't think it is Digi's problem.

iPhone and Samsung are widely popular is not without a reason. Intensive RnD and paying copyrights to use telecom patent and chipset so that quality is good and technically compatible with operator's transmission equipment.

If issue persist, just change phone la

u try use yr sim on yr colleagues phone whom signal is strong.

if the problem is on yr phone after try on other phones, perhaps u flash different modem rather than flash the whole rom. check xda developers web to know which modem with strongest signal

But Xda has almost non discussion on MX4 pro/Mx4.

hmm. better fastboot flash the whole rom if u suspect software problem

reconfirm whether sim, software or hardware problems before u proceed
