Most other speaker manufacturers have their own owners thread and I know there's at least a few of us here. i thought it might be nice to discuss different models, experiences, pricing and such.

Seems that the missions don't get a lot of talk here in Malaysia but, personally i love them. it would also be nice to learn of any places in Malaysia. that carry them because. Also i realize that a lot of mission owners are outside of Malaysia. so if you can comment on different models that we can't get our hands on here and any retailers that will ship to the Malaysia that would be great.

Personally I just bought MX4, MS10 and MXc2. Planning to buy MX1 in the future as my rear. My home theatre setup is 5.1.2. With Onkyo NR636 AV and Onkyo Dolby enabled speaker.

If you like mission you should consider the dipole for surround

I have a 20-year old Mission 753 with a pair of Arcam Delta 290/290P collecting dust inside my store room. Bought the speakers and amp in 95 when I was a student in the UK.
Last time Missions speakers were quite popular among Malaysian students studying in the UK.

Any idea if there is any hifi shops in KL that can resurrect these old speakers to new lease of life?
I know of a hifi shop in SG that can modify the 753 by chnaging the capacitors, cross-overs and internal wiring to keep the sound "up to date" with the competition.

I use an Onkyo TX-NR636 AV. Anyone of you guys had used or is using Onkyo?

Mission dipole? which model you recommend? I kinda like the MX1. Done an audition at CMY 1Utama and it sounded great and look nice also.

Don't remember what is the model. Mx1 is good but using it as surround is too directional. You don't need your surround to sound great but more to filling up

Yup is good for movie and music. Is a bit more rounder
