QUOTE(chiahau @ Apr 30 2015, 12:22 PM) Should I activate my card via m2U or just swipe them for any amount instead? If you pick up from branch, the officers will usually help you to activate. Only those by delivery, need to call to activate. Tried calling the hotline but as usual, nobody wants to pick up my phone calls. |

QUOTE(supersound @ May 10 2015, 11:13 PM) Is your mistake to keep your savings account > rm5. I always keep my savings account at rm5 only. So if were to select wrongly, I can't make any payment. Also, using stupid device's apps to pay bills are quite risky, especially when the screen are dirty, like in keyboard, when you want to type "r", it may go to "e" due to sensitivity issues. I have two accounts and one of them is the i-Savers account which has more money and I selected from that account. Talking about it, some of the ATMs don't recognize my i-Savers account, so I usually while q-ing only use Maybank app to transfer from Savers account to my Wadiah account. QUOTE(CalvinCLK @ May 10 2015, 11:48 PM) Sorry to hear that. It was my first time using iPad Maybank app, usually use its website or Android Maybank app, so far no issue.I always check, check and recheck before proceed every single page. Highlight the word and check. Just paid mine. QUOTE(victorywp @ May 11 2015, 04:41 AM) lol, you have the potential to help your husband to pay his bill so that he may join our club below... QUOTE(supersound @ May 11 2015, 10:50 PM) Plan your budget well. Simple as that. Now each month I only take out rm1000-3000 from ATM, so whenever my salary is in, I'll pay my card's outstanding amount first, water and Indah Water bill then balance will be on FD's account. Er... Not about my budget. I can be jobless for 6 months or more and my savings is still enough, I think you are missing the point here. And by 3rd day, my savings account will be at rm5 again Also, I'm making sure I have at least 1 FD will be matured every month, this is to make I have enough money to use in case of sheet happens. In the event of money not enough, I'll cash out my groceries. That's why I dare to "lost" my job for 2 months But thanks for your suggestion, I certainly do not want my fund to have only RM 5 and not easy for me to withdraw when I travel to overseas. And savers account's interest is not too bad which is paid on monthly basis. This post has been edited by fruitie: May 11 2015, 10:54 PM |

QUOTE(maskedchan @ May 12 2015, 03:33 PM) instead of take out your ATM card, you can just key in the code(TAC) from SMS.. Oh, sounds cool! And I just saw your message that it has now RM 1.00.... That turns me off. much easier and more safer.. at least nobody going to rob you since you dont have ATM card with you |

QUOTE(koinibler @ May 12 2015, 05:34 PM) Why you mention some ATM don't recognize? Even some Maybank ATMs also don't recognize and of course other banks' ATM don't recognize which I think that's pretty understandable.I thought for i-saver all other ATM don't recognize, so must only use maybank ATM to withdraw? Any other bank ATM recognize i-saver? QUOTE(sms2u @ May 12 2015, 05:49 PM) U means some of the ATM only show 1 account for u and some ATM show 2 account after u insert the same ATM cards? Yes, correct for the bolded part.If all ATM did not show the bank account, most liely the bank account still no link to the ATM card. Not all Maybank ATMs, only some. To further clarify, I think this is how it works. For e.g., if you intend to withdraw RM 100 and your normal Wadiah account only has RM 60.00 but your i-Savers account has RM 2000. Once you punch in 100 and it will not allow you to choose to withdraw from i-Savers account, it will straight pop up the message telling you insufficient of fund. However, if you intend to withdraw RM 50, after you punch in the amount, in the next screen, it will ask you to choose to withdraw from which account. I hope this clarifies, so it means the priority still goes to Wadiah account. At least this is happening to me. This post has been edited by fruitie: May 12 2015, 06:34 PM |

QUOTE(pisanq @ May 12 2015, 08:34 PM) during withdrawal process at atm machine, your atm card by default choose your first saving account. if u want to withdraw from non default account, just select withdraw any other amount then u will have the option to choose which account u want to cash out the money. no need to do the transfer to own account QUOTE(alexwsk @ May 12 2015, 09:59 PM) you sure you did not see an option named "other" or "next" on the screen? my cherry debit card is linked to 4 accounts, 2 of it confirmed RM1 all the time including the primary kawanku savings account linked to card, while my m2u-saver is the one with money but then urs is m2u-saver-i, so i'm not sure any difference QUOTE(CalvinCLK @ May 12 2015, 10:03 PM) I always choose Other Amount, key in the amount I want to withdraw, then followed by which account to withdraw from. If I choose the Fast Cash options, the system by default tag it to my basic account (where the ATM Card is linked to since issue date) Thanks guys! I will try in my next withdrawal. This thing bothers me the most but it's good that it's my own ignorance and not bank's limitation. |

QUOTE(muyo @ May 13 2015, 11:03 PM) Thanks for the Answer. Another Thing is. My outstanding balance is 5500 then why my min payment is 700++ ? I thought is 5% min payment. And let's say I paid the min amount will it deduct from outstanding balance? Or just remain the same as interest. Noob here. You do know there is interest for late payment and minimum payment right?I don't know about all these interests as this is not what I'm looking for from a credit card. Maybe others can advise you better. |

QUOTE(eddie2020 @ May 14 2015, 08:38 PM) Well, I was also bring offered the same way back in 2011.That's because my salary was paid directly to Maybank and this doesn't mean that all will be called by them. I was very lucky. If you initiate the application yourself, then you have to submit supporting documents. |

QUOTE(sharminechin @ May 16 2015, 10:20 AM) Like I said, they requested me to submit my 2-month salary slips to them. My salary is issued by cheque and I banked in to MBB saving account. What I am concern about is since they are offering me the cards, is it 101% that I will get the card or 50-50 or 0% since I am already holding cards from 2 issuers? Thanks. Though the agent can call you and offer you but it's still subject to management‘s approval. No harm trying though.Exactly. MBB better don't give me false hope. Lol. |
